@ramonbril

As a biologist / botanist living in southern Italy, also immensely interested in this topic, I have so much I'd like to add. Amongst many others:

Most modern plant crops have been weeds in better crops that due to agricultural practices (monoculture) have gotten diseases and therefore failed. Seeds are not a good idea the eat, but when your tuber crop fails, you will resort to in times of famine.
Modern non-tuber (leaf/flower/stalk) vegetables have changed so much, that they bare barely any resemblance to their former chemisty. They have become sweet, watery and lost all their medicinal contents. These are often bitter.
Humans, like all carnivores, do eat leaves. Not for calories, but as a medicine, in small doses. Most of these have become modern crops, like salad (a former painkiller) or cabbage (anti-parasite). Eating these for their calories is not a good idea. Removing the medicinal properties and then consuming loads is even worse.

The Mediterranean diet is often considered amazing. A lot of lies go around. Italians love their meats and cheeses, but do indeed also eat grains and olive oil. But most importantly, in my opinion, they eat a massive, self collected, plethora of wild herbs in smaller quantities, often added to eggs or just cooked with a bit of olive oil. These cultural practices change from region to region, but veganism is extremely rare in Italy, except for in the university cities. It's considered a shame and unacceptable.

Ah yes, and seafood. Lots of seafood.

I changed my cat over to raw carnivore nearly a year ago. He’s gone from being a “scaredy-cat” to super chilled. His teeth look incredible, his coat is ridiculously soft and shiny and now he’s the perfect weight no more ups and downs in his weight. Also he used to get “cat flu” symptoms where his inner eyelids would partially cover his eyes - a sign that he was feeling unwell. We’ve never seen this since he went raw carnivore nearly a year ago. He also used to get diarrhoea, not anymore.

I expect he will live a long a healthy life.

We feed him mostly raw chicken necks, little bits of raw liver and kidneys and raw wild goat meat.

when I was a kid, healthy old dogs were commonplace, most of them ran free and some of them lived to about 25 yrs. Those dogs ate meat, table scraps and canned dog food.

@brianbadonde8700

when you compare people eating mostly meat to vegans, the meat eaters look so healthy

@versatec1

Well...This guy certainly does not have brain fog! Flawless delivery 😀👍🏻

@raynakalcheva2540

Thank you for the amazing information!
I am keto for 16 year and now for over a year carnivore, i am glad to see so amazing information. Keep up the good work!

@kiwikim5163

I feel best when I’m only eating meat. If I add in carbs I always end up feeling miserable.

@jamesward5721

Eldest sons 6'5", never eats or ate veg, lives on meat & some pasta. I used regard that as a weird anomaly & that he'd get ill not eating veg. Nope. He's built like a tank, very muscular on what I regarded as an "unhealthy" diet. I used nag him a lot about not eating his vegetables, now I don't.

@Daydreamer-o1m

This is a well thought out podcast. You make a powerful argument young man. Well done

@jdnutrition0

You should definitely make some shorts to improve your outreach! Quality content here

Dont forget ancient eygytians, they ate mostly fruit,honey and grains and they had tooth decay, heart disease and statues depicting fat stomachs and manboobs

@andredaedone7732

@TerriblePerfection

I'm 4+ years meat-based. The more I deviate from carnivore, the worse I feel, and that's just adding a few plants (no wheat, grains, fruit, etc.).
I just experiment with my own body and pay attention to the effects of various things.
Beef and lamb rule for me.
Cheers from Germany! 🥩

Phenomenal video, Max! 🔥 I’m 30 and about to go Carnivore to see if it helps my psoriasis - subscribed!

@Miraak1868

Thanks much for this factual presentation. I became carnivore in late June and NEVER looked back. I self cured my diabetes 2, bloody acid reflux disease, arthritis, diahreah, and constipation.

@Stan_in_Shelton_WA

I love the vegan war tribe argument! Perfect!
