The yamaha trbx304, I absolutely hated this bass you might like it but not me. It has a lot of options but it doesn't do anything particularly well. The neck is rough, it's uncomfortable to play slap, it has a nob for switching pickup settings for the pre amp that should be removed from future models. If you only have $400 get something simple (p bass or jazz bass) that makes at least 1 or 2 good sounds not 6 bad sounds.
