I also upgraded my rear view mirror with something like yours but mine's curved. I also replaced the stock radio and installed a 9 inch display with Android Auto so my phone just connects automatically wirelessly. I plan on removing the round plastic parts of the vents that you cleaned and I plan on painting it Red to match my Element. There's a video here on Youtube of someone who did that and since then I've been wanting to do it too. One last thing is since I live in SoCal and its almost always sunny, even in winter, what I do to protect the outer plastic trim is I use something called Cerokete. It darkens the plastics and keeps it dark months. Oh and buy a shield for your catalytic converter lol

I need to do this. I have a smudge on the inside of my cluster about the MPH gauge. May as well vacuum out the vents while I'm in there. What type of paint do you use for the interior?
