The Economic Warning Signs ARE PILING UP EVERYWHERE.. https://youtu.be/nLexIf1ueis

@mydressmemos

A house isn't the best investment, considering the state of the economy right now. After selling my Boca Grande house, I want to put $200K into stocks because they can still increase in value during difficult times. Do you have any great ideas for stocks?

@Peterl4290

I've been watching the housing market closely, Prices have been skyrocketing for years. It's going to be tough for first-time buyers to enter the market." how can one diversify $280k reserve .

@dilara4130

I hope we all know that it doesn't matter who is in the 'top job' because this is a systemic problem -- greed. We have allowed many of our economic sectors, to take advantage of the American people. Taxes are heavy on the middle classes and the billionaires avoid taxes or are given tax cuts. It's disgusting and frightening for the future of our country. My husband and I will be retiring in the next two years n another country. We are absolutely worried that SS! will no longer be funded. we'll have to rely on his pension, a 403 (b) and a very prolific Investment account with Catalina Soto Busch my FA. Our national debt is bloating and expanding every month. Our government needs to get spending under control and cut the federal budget.

@jemase7931

My aunt's house in Pinellas Park, FL, did not flood for 35 years. Then, they built a mall and more houses and widened the roads, and changed the drainage patterns. Now, it floods very year.

@tizzx4945

The real estate agent is the last person who will tell you about flooding!

@Kirisame312

Feels like fraud is the only consistent way to make money in this country anymore. Just awful.

@sammyvh11

It costs 200 bucks to have a faucet installed by a plumber in many states. We are doomed with repair costs! I'm old and darn near cripple I can't do it anymore myself.

@Rob-r2s

My friend purchased supper cheep land in the desert and shortly after doing that, the state decided to seize the property under eminent domain. He was going to build a gas station on the land. He ended up getting a large chunk of money which was way more than he paid for the land which made him very happy. He then invested in another property and built his gas station.

@traceyoung5592

I just realized why I watch this show every day. The knowledge that I’m not the only person out there that feels like they’ve been getting screwed over is oddly comforting.

I don’t wish ill will on anyone and I’m not ‘happy’ that the world is going to hell in a hand basket but knowing that there are other people experiencing the same nonsense that I see everyday makes me feel less bad about it.

@pinschrunner

Our society is full of moral rot when a seller lies on a disclosure. Inspectors cannot be held accountable either

@sixthsense-o4u

When choosing a Florida house, I looked at the insurance flood maps ...as I did sink hole maps and avoided storm surge areas. After 10 years, all has been well.

@seabreezeA1A

Another thing a buyer can do is look up work permits on the property, as those are public records, and they show all the permits taken out for work, which might reveal something.

@kclefthanded427

Buying and selling a house is sometimes sketchy. Dont be afraid to ask hard questions. Smell mold? Run!

@jeffbryan3224

You NEVER really OWN a house. Even if the Mortgage is paid off with Insurance, HOA, TAXES, Maintenance and Repairs THE HOUSE OWNS YOU.

@strokeracp1

Call your insurance company on a home you plan on making an offer. They will immediately inform you of any claims made against the property in the past several years.

@cathyarmato7132

Hey Michael, everyone who buys a home should request a Clue Report, which details the claim history of a home. Insurance companies can always find this information out. Do this Before you're in contract. That poor woman who got stuck with the house that floods, should see if her insurance company can go after the former owner's insurance company. They may be able to subrogate & get money from them. It's worth asking! Always try to get the claim history, & not from the seller. They're likely to lie. Great topic, so important!

@henrythegreatamerican8136

This was a good video and is exactly why "deregulation" is rarely a good thing for the majority of Americans.

@SleeplessMomma

I’ll never forget paying for flood insurance. We went from $153/year to $2700/year and never even remotely got flooded. The jump in cost was immediately after Katrina. I live in Minnesota.

@WilliamCooper-l6f

Who can afford anything that is damaged or broken these days? My goodness, new cars have endless recalls and mechanical issues, because of all the Tom Foolery they designed into them.
If I were the devil trying to destroy the world, I wouldn't change a single thing impacting people's lives.
