WOW! This basic tutorial was so damn helpful! I needed a basic idea of how to use CSP, because I wanted to be a little more proficient in my drawing. I am so not a technical person so I am so happy to have someone who is out there making content like this!!
My biggest problem as a beginner with using any software usually is not knowing how to actually use brush/es or which ones to use so I appreciate the painting part with explanations and I would love to see a longer vid with similar format but more examples maybe.. Great video man😊
holy crap dude, thank you. i have just recently gotten into digital drawing and this has greatly helped me
Thanks for going through the key shortcuts. Really useful.
Man, these videos you make are just so good! They literally save my life, since I've been struggling so much with progress in drawing! You deserve many many more views!
Dude, thank you so much. I was very strongly repelled from drawing by the poor settings of the application. Previously, I only used the g-pen, and the pointer in the form of a "+" sign also interfered with my drawing, because of this I could not focus properly on the line I was drawing. But after watching your video, I realized the difference between the brushes and installed yours. Now all the problems have been fixed and drawing has become very convenient. It was also very helpful to hear about masks. Thank you.
Thanks a lot for the useful video! As a long time user of Corel PhotoPaint (a very complex software) and Sai (not so complex), I appreciate you showing the main features and locations of the controls. A lot of similar stuff, but watching WHERE they are is great!
I’m just at the introduction of your hours and was relieved you were kidding about how many hours this would take…continuing. 👍
I am definitely going to watch this multiple times while I do Marc Brunet's art school. Thank you so much for this. This is a masterpiece tutorial. I also love your dragon. Reminds me of Monster Hunter
Not only save often, but also, save back-up of your files! Save them on a pendrive, external hard drive or external SSD, the cloud such as Google Drive, DropBox, Mega (to name a few). Because, what happens if your PC or Mac got broken, stolen, or infected by a malware or virus that you have to formate the whole computer, which means, erase all your files? I'm sorry to sounded so alarming, I had a terrible experiences twice in the past, and one of the things that I regret the first time my computer got infected by a virus is not do back ups for my files, I lost everything I had in that PC. But that was a long time ago when I bought my own PC in my twenties.
Default for moving things around is set to K, not V. You might wanna slap a note on the video. Thanks, though! Even as a long time CSP user, I still learned a couple things I wish I had known. I actually found out a few things some months back that I desperately wished I had known, so I'm on a mission to go through the whole program. I wish (for others' sakes!) that you'd covered how to make brushes stay inside of a reference layer. That was a huge game changer for me, not having to clean edges nearly as much. Works better than the selection tools 99% of the time in my case.
I always put the navigation tab because you can zoom in using it and there's also arrows on the side to flip your canvas and you can scroll to whatever part of the canvas you want with it
Ngl I would watch that 933hour video 😭
I watched today your video, i tried to copy all your steps, i have no background/experience but you did a great job. The different layers are powerful and your own brushes are helpful. - the dragon looks like a shareholder who has lost money😂 - im from 🇩🇪 my english isnt the best
Nice Video man
awesome as always nemo :3 i dont use digital but to those who do new is the best :₩
Hey how do you bound the F3 key to flip the canvas?
Is clip studio paint the same if you buy it on an iPad?
LOL im trying to learn CSP coming from PS..... even following your step by step instructions, it doesnt work how you show it working. Trying to fill with color.... referring to the reference layer screws it up by ignoring the actual selection and instead only paying attention to the lines on the reference layer. Once I turned that OFF, I got it to work.
