There is an error in the specs for all three laptops: the resolution is not 1920x1080 but 1920x1200. T14 line switched to 16:10 ratio since Gen 3.
Had a friend who's ThinkPad finally have heating problem once after 7 years. We were all proud of that ThinkPad.
I always go for either a Thinkpad or a MacBook and have never been let down by either.
I'm starting having issue with my thinkpad chassis... After 17 years of use.
Very helpful comparison here. Have used ThinkPads for over two decades at work and they have been very reliable. Great keyboards and I am very good with the little keyboard joystick. It makes you more productive if you are good at using it. For a personal laptop I do not want something that reminds me of work. Planning on a gaming laptop next. Agree with you on your point on why they are great. They have gotten much better. I can get some good battery life when not gaming and enjoying my laptop at a cafe. But if the cafe has an outlet near my table, I can grab the brick from my bag and game like a decent desktop gaming PC. That is awesome!
got a used thinkpad t14s with ryzen 5 4650u pro for 200$ super happy with the choice
As always top Review! Keep going Alex!
The Gen 6 T14s is the only laptop design out there that offers AMD, Intel Lunar Lake or Qualcomm chips. The problem is that RAM options aren't the same across the board and OLED is only available on the Qualcomm model.
Last year, the 🐲🐉 X series Chip was like something that simply not interesting. Now, after watching my fave Youtubers, this just getting better. Like more App support and the emulation layers that yeah, fairly good 😅
I own a P14s, and the differentiation between it and the T14s leaves me scratching my head. I'd love to know Lenovo's thinking behind the two supposedly different product lines.
Love my entry level all AMD APU SoC 2023 ThinkPad 16s Gen 2 - great video!! :)
Using Ryzen 5 in Ideapad Gaming laptop for 3 years now made me realise that I should better get intel at low to mid budget, and AMD in higher budget.
I am in the middle of replacing all of my AMD laptops with Intel. I just can't be bothered with AMD on a laptop anymore, their open-source drivers are almost as crashy and buggy as their Windows counterparts, not to mention they have still USB4/Thunderbolt 4 issues. Just recently I returned the HP ZBook Ultra with "Ai Max+ 395" because of those stability issues. (Windows & Linux) Sure I'll have less performance and battery life but at least the laptop is going to work and won't randomly crash because it didn't like the dock or monitor it was plugged into.
I think a ThinkPad and the Nokia 5110 could survive an atomic war together!
I just wish Asus and Lenovo would make Android versions of their 2in1 tablets, with SPD X Elite to compete with the iPad Pro.
Wuuuut, I thought I already subbed? Well, that is rectified. I will also check out the X9 review.
you should have some kind performance to price slide also. as pc user i was dreaming of memory bandwidth of M4 pro or M4 max that cant be achieved in pc at the same price.
Wann kommt das msi titan auf dem deutschen Kanal alex ?
I wonder whether you could review the ThinkPad E14 Gen 7 (maybe the i7 255h version) with it's new 120 Hz display option and the bigger battery size. :)
