It's very interesting that the military situation in Ukraine is completely ignored in our media (I speak for the German media here). Here in Germany, the impression is being conveyed that Ukraine is in the process of restoring a balanced balance of power. This, too, can be used to justify the absurd demands of the European NATO states. The public is being completely misled! The whole thing is increasingly reminiscent of the situation in Germany in early 1945.

If NATO can recognize the West's relative lack of power and accept the geopolitical realities on the ground, Europeans can start to make a positive difference rather than seeking to cling to their failed political narrative and delay the inevitable. NATO continued calls for Russia to accept terms that the West is unable to impose will need to cease.

Zelensky thinks he can make demands, but soon he may be begging for mercy. If nothing comes out of the talks on Thursday Zelensky can have his meeting with Putin at the gates of Kiev.
