My suspicion with Kerry is that she never really liked Karen much, and has been easily convinced that Karen did kill him. That would explain the earnestness in her testimony and her willingness to do things like be somewhat guided by Jen & Co. into sitting for chats about timelines, etc. I love that Lally's redirect of the Aruba sisters totally misses the point and ends up supporting the defense. The defense isn't alleging the Aruba sisters are lying. They're alleging that the police had an agenda, evidenced by how differently they treated people like, for example, the Aruba sisters. Mentioning that they were separated for their interviews just bolsters that!

After hearing the Aruba story - which consisted of seeing something incorrectly, 2 "F-offs" followed by an apology soon after by Karen to the sister & wanting to pay for a portion of the hotel room as a gesture of remorse - all I could think was I'm sure glad no one witnessed a couple of terrible yelling fights my husband & I had in our 30+ otherwise great years of marriage. It happens to many couples...even in great relationships! It sure seems like everyone in that town always wants to see and believe the worst in Karen. Would they be like that with each other?

I like seeing comments and hearing from people what their thoughts are. I have been following this for over two years, every document, motion snd hearing. I worry that I know to many details to look at this from an outside perspective. Things that seem obvious to me, may not be what jurors are feeling. As I listen and read through comments, I feel more assured than I did before. One example if this is over the two years I have been able to compare and contrast the differences in statements from Jen McCabe. What she said in her first "interview", to the second or third "interview", her statements from the state GJ, to the Federal GJ and finally on the stand. Every single time things were added and changed. I do wish that AJ spent a little more time going over the inconsistencys in Jen's recollection.

These sisters came across as very ungrateful to Karen's generosity and seemed to disparage John more than Karen. Lally is so dumb. If your sister needs to ask you if you were making out with John perhaps Karen wasn't wrong at all.

I am rewatching JM's testimony again and she emphatically declared how John was her friend and she loved him blah blah blah...why didn't she go over to him and help Karen and Karrie/Carrie render first aid to John? She stayed far away from him. She already knew!

I think some of the things that the defense is leaving on the table are having to be saved for their case-in-chief. I know that they have the technical data to support that Google search, and I wouldn't be surprised if, after presenting that data (and other technical data, like the Life360), they bring Jen back. The video still offers them a substantive way to impeach her that -- if they don't show her now -- she won't have time to formulate an answer to explain.

I still have more questions than answers. I'm becoming more persuaded that Jenn McCabe knows more about who beat the life out of John O'Keefe than we ever will. I really have trouble reconciling his injuries with getting hit by an SUV.I Today was mean girls Wednesday.
