Variants can ALSO have different situations too. This mark could surely be born as a sociopath, did nothing but train, and/or lied to his dad about "ruling" just to get on his good side, then he just sneak attacks him. Which to be fair makes MUCH more sense then a simple "hes stronger then omni man". I've thought about this stuff a lot too dude! It's fun!
My cannon is that he raged as a kid after he lost in a game of fortnite and someone trash talked him so started planing how to destory humanity and unalive that person he trash talked him
I think what made this Mark so deranged was because he may have gotten his powers at a young age meaning he couldn’t grow up human like the main universe Mark. This could have made him feel isolated during his childhood since Nolan would have been gone most of the time, and unlike Oliver Mark gives into his rage easily so this feeling of isolation would have turned into hate for the world and that is why he is the way he is
Maybe Sinister Mark never had his healthy social circle, never experienced the support and love from his parents and was just neglected when raised, his dad could've neglected him during childhood his mom could've been depressed and on the wine 24/7, he started developing his powers and abused them to take out revenge on his bullies and those who hurt/ignored him and his please for help, he saw that they would fear him and that fear gives him the power over those that thought very little of him, he becomes the bully and thus spirals out of control into sinister mark.
Omni Mark and Sinister Mark of course the two invincibles with capes got the more aura in the show at least
-Maybe Todd pushed him too far one day at school and his powers kicked in mid-punch and then things spiralled from there. -Maybe Debbie died soon after she gave birth to him and Nolan was his primary influence. -Maybe Debbie suffered something heavy during a home invasion when Nolan was away and trauma dumped on Mark That last one can one of two ways: Either Nolan is indifferent and Mark grows to hate him OR Nolan explains this is what humans are like and lore dumps Viltrum early and tells Mark his mother is an exception and she overhears this and feeds into that.
In the comics, people in his universe are inherently more evil meaning Omniman and Debbie could have been abusive or he was just born a psychopath .He wears a cape and speaks highly of himself(narcicism) he would have killed omniman not wanting to share earth or just hated him.Omniman would have been holding back at first while sinister mark was fighting with killer intent from the get go.
So, do you remember how during their fight, Nolan lamented not treating and raising Mark as a Viltrumite? I would suppose that in Sinisters universe, Nolan was abusive from the get-go. Abusive parents have some pretty messed up effects on their kids. Would also explain why Mark was so giddy and proud to do that to Nolan.
I hope we can get more backstory on the alts than what was given in the comics. Maybe a special ep or something. I’d especially be interested in Sinister Invincible, Flaxan Invincible, CoD Lobby Invincible, Prisoner Invincible, Mohawk Invincible and Viltrumite Invincible
My headcanon is that Sinister Mark's diverging moment is that he struck out at the baseball game, meaning Omni-Man was never proud of him, meaning Mark always resented his father. So, when Omni-Man crashes out and asks Mark to join him, he agrees, only to get strong enough fighting the forces of Earth to then either A. Kill Omni-Man straight up, or B. Hit him with a sneak attack, using Omni-Man to take out Earth's heavy hitters before killing a weakened/tired Omni-Man whereas Mark waited for the moment to strike.
Here's another piece of lore about Sinister Mark: Not only did he murder his own father, he murdered his own mother as well.
I mean in his universe at least shown in the comics he talks to someone who is good and he said in his universe he's one of the best villains or something like that so probably alot of the heroes on his universe has switched morality so maybe it's the same for the viltrum empire and Omniman was actually good and he was trying to hold back on his son and that got him killed
I'm glad there are more people talking about the invincible war
His father probably noticed how unhinged that variant of Invincible was and tried to make him more heroic. However, this failed, and instead of following in his father's footsteps, Mark killed him.
It’s clear that when main Mark loses control he becomes extremly violent so the darkness is in him, he’s just in control of himself most of the time. So for him to be evil he just needs to give in to his rage.
My theory is his dimension everyone is just a bit more dark and edgy tbh. Maybe he even went the Darkwing 2 route and snapped under the pressure, or maybe he really was just naturally more of a lunatic. But I actually don’t think he’s stronger than Omni-Man despite his claim of killing him. Dude words it as murder, makes me think he simply caught Nolan off guard and took him out quick rather than a real fight. Feel like he would’ve made much more of an impact if he was even comparable to Nolan. All I know is this one by far has the best outfit. Honestly almost a shame that’s not Mark’s normal fit cause it goes hard.
2 weeks since this video was made and nah dawg I’m still obsessed invincible is fire
I like the theory that Nolan turned good and didn't want to hurt humans, but when Mark was told about viltrum and how they conquered planets it made him want to join the empire and take over earth
