My Aunt was killed in this. Please pray for us all. She lived in Sunshine Hills subdivision. Any and all help is deeply appreciated. Even if it is just prayers for healing and grace from God for all who remain.
I was watching Ryan Hall Y'all's coverage and he warned of this 20-30 minutes before it was officially warned! He and his channel and all the generous viewers have donated thousands and thousands of dollars to his non profit to help these people. God bless you all ❤️
As a survivor of the May 2011 Joplin tornado that took 161 lives, my heart and prayers go out to the people affected by yesterdays storms. My wife and I lost everything, home, contents, vehicles and our places of employment. But we survived and started over with getting toothbrushes and went from there. It’s a lot of work and time to recover.
Bless this elderly mans heart. There are just no words to describe the pain and anxiety he is going through.
My oldest daughter lives in London. Finally got a hold of her. It missed her niebourhood. Prayer going out to all effected.🙏
Those poor people and pets. My heart breaks for them.
What’s worse is to see the elderly lose their homes. How can they have the strength and money to rebuild at this age😢so sad
Compassionate…quiet reporting…kindly allowing people to fully speak with their hearts
That last man. Everything will be ok. And thinking of other people. What a sweetheart.💛
24 hours ago these people were excited for the weekend. Now they're digging through the rubble of their home. I try to never take for granted that our lives as we know it can go away in seconds.
It's so hard to look at this without crying. I used to live in London and it hurts so much to see my former community shattered like this.
Some of my family has been affected by this tornado, please say a prayer for them and everyone involved!!
I'm in Indiana - we had blue skies, no rain, no wind and Boom! The sirens started blaring and I could hear a roar like none other - our town was hit but I could hear the tornado traveling from one side of town to the other - yet my skies were still blue and no rain or wind until it passed, then we got a burst of wind. I will never forget that sound. Luckily nobody was killed but 2 horses and several injuries. My guard was down - I was in the basement and went back upstairs after seeing nothing on the radar - sirens quickly went off and then heard this incredible constant rumble - ran my 3 legged dog outside down the ramp and back into the basement until it was over. We can't let our guard down if storms are anywhere around. God bless these folks.
The gentleman at 5:09 really embodies the Kentucky spirit. He goes through this nightmare and still sees the bigger picture. I'm glad he and his wife are okay.
Thank you for covering the peoples tragedies with care and dignity Jonathan.
Those 2 gentlemen are still in shock, the fur babies are definitely traumatized as well.. Prayers to all the families affected.. So heartbreaking.. Thank you for your coverage Johnathan..
Shout-out to Max Velocity and Reiley who spotted this tornado, confirmed that it was on the ground despite the lack of upgraded weather warning, and promptly spent around 100 minutes attempting to get ahold of the local NWS while warning as many people as they could on socials. It was pretty upsetting to watch and not be able to do anything, ngl.
I am in Washington state. My heart and roots run deep in Kentucky. Lived in Lexington for a few years. My heart absolutely broke seeing this this morning. I am crying my eyes out for everyone. Every critter, every tree, every home.. I am holding space and sending love and prayers to everyone down there. My heart and soul are with the people of London. I'm so deeply sorry. Thank you for speaking about the animals and having a heart for them and their experience too. My heart is just broken for every one of them. 💔
People like you and Ryan Hall bring this devastation front and center better than any broadcast media these days..... Very impressed and very touched with the level of your professionalism and the quality of your work. ❤
