When I first saw the thumbnail for this video, my mind instantly went to Disney. I honestly forgot Winnie the Pooh was public domain for a second, then I suddenly went "Oh yeah! That upcoming CGI series that's not by Disney!".
At least Winnie the Pooh isn’t murdering anyone
I keep saying it but as an artist, I view AI as a tool that isn’t good or bad. That said, with the current state of AI, everyone has a RIGHT to be concerned.
Pooh looks like Ted but with a blue scarf
Look how they massacred my boy! ;-; And I mean, my god! What the hell have they done to poor old Pooh bear!!!
Seeing the video itself and you go "WAIT A MINUTE" when the AI thing came up was hilarious. It was if the video itself was saying: "NOPENOPENOPENOPE!!!"
The Disney lawyers won’t have to look hard to find holes in this … Kanga looks nearly identical to the Disney version, Tigger’s design is much closer to Disney’s version than Milne’s, being tall and standing on 2 feet only, Disney’s Tigger is extremely hyper and bouncing all the time while Milne’s Tigger was way more polite.. and finally, as far as I remember, Rabbit’s obsession with gardening was a Disney thing … it wasn’t mentioned in the original books at all.
As Pooh would say Oh Bother.
This is the reason why we need to stop AI once and for all.
I’m getting flashbacks to the Veggietales redesigns.
At first, I thought the animation for the entire series in this first look was all going to be AI animation. But thank God that’s not true. It looks like the show is animated by actual human beings. And despite this being done by the same people who did Cocomelon, the animation isn’t half bad.
Blood and honey doesn't look so bad all of a sudden.
a.a milne would not approve of this
Now these have won as the worst Winnie the Pooh designs Now we owe Winnie the Pooh blood and honey an apology Heck I’ll take the Winnie the Pooh horror series over this
There's an obvious reason why AI should be erased from existence.
Since when did winnie the pooh Had a fox & a squirrel character? Answer: They Don't
The yarn aesthetic could be cute, but the fact that this was made by AI isn't so assuring. If I were to make my own version of Winnie-the-Pooh, I would make it more like Richard Scarry's Busytown and even implement some real-world issues onto some of the characters like Eeyore being homeless.
WHAT THE HELL HAVE THEY DONE!?
A Winnie The Pooh Show In a Yarn Art-style in Theory: 👍😍 Execution: 💀🪦⚰️
