@monkeysParents

You are very kind to share so much useful info with all of us. You were a guiding light during my immigration process. God bless you and your family! God bless the USA!

@andressagaon8289

I watched all your videos. Thank you for all your explanations. I think I am ready to send my application

@DonaldRees-s7n

Interesting sounds like the recommendation is to have all of the documents mailed from the beginning versus submitting electronically all forms besides the I-693.

@perry3770

I finally got my RFE for Medical Exam today! The deadline shows 90 days from today, but since I will make my 2 year anniversary in June, I will wait until my anniversary date before sending it in so I can get the 10 year green card instead of being approved before my 2 year anniversary and only getting the conditional green card!

@Howwazzit

Thank you for the update.

@ajaykant88

Thank you for the video. I had submitted the I-693 along with I-485 (I-130 filed online) ; yet got an RFE to submit I-693. Interestingly my originally submitted I-693 shows in list of scanned documents on USCIS site when checking status.

Hi! I was planning to file all with my married name, but when I told the civil surgeon hired that I wanted to use my married name he said they are instructed to make sure that the name in the forms matches the ID, and that a marriage certificate is not a USCIS allowed proof of ID. Now I'm very confused. Has anybody had this issue? Thank you so much!

@andyho1387

Thank you for the information. The information is helpful.

@BurcuTasik

Hey Kseniya and everyone else!

I would first like to thank you for all that you do, Kseniya.

I have a question for which I can't seem to find an accurate answer to. We went to the designated civil surgeon of choice today to get my husband's Immigration Medical Exam, vaccines and blood tests done. The doctor, one who does these medical exams regularly, told us that my husband won't need an updated (2023-2024) Covid 19 vaccine since he has received two previously. I showed him my research and the content of the CDC link you provided here. He told us that he hasn't received any packets being returned, and that it isn't mandatory, but that we could get another shot just to be safe, administered elsewhere.

I reread the CDC link. When they say, "Everyone ages 6 months and older vaccinated outside the United States should receive at least 1 dose of an updated (2023–2024 Formula) COVID-19 vaccine regardless of past COVID-19 vaccination history (e.g., vaccine type[s], vaccine manufacturer[s], number of doses) unless they received an updated (2023–2024 Formula) COVID-19 vaccine that is FDA-approved or FDA-authorized." My husband did receive two FDA approved Covid shots outside of the US with a valid vaccine record, just not the 2023-2024 version. I'm curious what they mean by "SHOULD" here - like should, as in it is recommended to, or is it mandatory? We do not want another Covid vaccine if it isn't mandatory, like the doctor says, but I'm worried about our case being delayed if it is mandatory. Any definite knowledge on this, anyone?

Thank you

@JingSun-p1u

Hi Kseniya, it is super kind and amazingly awesome of you to build this platform to share your experience and and help people in need! Many many thanks to you!
I have a question for vaccination. May i know have you meet someone get exemption from vaccinations from submitting form I-601, thanks for your time and all your great efforts! You are an amazing being!

@AracelyCantalicio

My husband tested positive for drugs last July 2024. Immigration told him he needs to be re tested after 12 months. How can I get an appointment for him to be retested?

@nicolarainey

Thanks for the tips

@gloriaanadiez7647

Hi Kseniya! thank you so much for your videos. I do have a question I can't find the answer. I'm engaged and getting married in two weeks. I already booked an appointment with a civil surgeon and he sent lab orders and asked for other things. Can I get labs and shots and the actual physical exam with the form before my marriage day or should I wait until after that? Please if you know the answer to this! Thanks!

@PinkCougar

I sent my medical exam but it took too long for USCIS to make a decision on my case, so my medical exam expired and they sent me a RFE for another medical exam. I got the new form I-693 completed, signed and sealed by an authorized civil surgeon. I mailed it togther with a copy of the RFE to the specified mailing address in the RFE (in this case is Dallas Field Office) by express mail as recommended in the RFE. UPSP website showed that my mail was delived but I never seen any update on USCIS website that they received it. I live chatted with an agent and he said no such document is attached to my case. My question : How long time before a second medical exam be posted on a case update ? What to do next ? I'm concerned because I heard an immigration lawyer mentioned a case where USCIS denied a case on grounds that the applicant did not respond to a RFE while in fact he did respond. What do you think ?

@anastasiiav4909

I submitted a complete package of documents for AOS. The Chicago office received it on March 28. I still don't have any confirmation. Should I start to worry?..

@KarenS2024ma

Do you know about the Covid vaccine and the new requirement on it. I do not have it and have been told that only the new 2023-2024 dose would be sufficient. Is this correct? Thank you in advance. And thank you for all your videos!

@dilshodmahmatkulov9102

Hello Kseniya, thank you for your videos, they are very helpful.
I have a question, do I have to send all original vaccination certificates, and covid-19 vacation, like proof and a supporting I 693 form or I have to send only envelope doctor gived to me?

@janethgreen4675

What if you send in your package but didn't finish the series of vaccines? Can you just upload when you get the rest of vaccines or do you have to go back to the physician and do it over

@Mo_mansour__

would that be okay havin it done from a different state? I mean is it mandatory for it to be done only in my state.
