their toxic relationship has been so toxic i completely forgot that they were in a dystopian locked in their apartment to be used as organ donors plot
i found it really funny that andrew's call to julia threw manly off so hard about the scene's mood that he forgot how to describe things afterwards
Ashley: Impulsively evil Andrew: Calculating evil
this game really tests the boundaries of how much manly is capable of self censoring himself for his channel and its impressive.
Andrew's psyche is so interesting. It's the double-edged sword of being punished for every wrong thing ASHLEY does and for ASHLEY being in danger, but the whole purpose of his life up until that point is ASHLEY. So he both is desperate to protect her since that's been the POINT of his life up til now but also deeply resents her for ruining everything.
You're right about Andrew being just as evil as Ashley I remember someone pointing out how it's never a "this is wrong" thought in his mind and it's always "there will be consequences" with him He doesn't care about the bad stuff they do he only cares about the bad stuff that will be done to them back, and it's been this way ever since they were kids
Tcoaal dev: >Gets doxxed for having incest in his game >Postpones the game for 1 year to add more incest Top tier ragebait
You know manly is THE veteran for these rpgmaker games, he literally cleared puzzles without knowing its one or just stumble into the answer like a anime mc
Never have I seen such an immensely toxic relationship be so engaging at the same time. This episode really takes it to the next level
Andrew is getting so off on getting Ashley mad and dominating her throughout that scene, all while playing with his ex`s feelings. He`s completely beyond giving a damn by that point...
Manly breaking character because the game is catching him off guard, man this part is starting off strong.
1:26:47 First time we see Ashley expressing that she CRAVES FRIENDS!!! Plus this ep revealed that Ashley is a tar soul because she's entirely given up on herself and deeply INTERNALIZES that she is a terrible person--something that she no doubt learned from her mother's view of her. AND because her parents never taught her how to be a better person (bc they gave up on her), she has trouble making friends and quickly gives up on it because she's also deeply internalised that she's inherently unlovable, annoying, weird, etc. And this, in turn, explains why she's always on edge with Andrew and never fully trusts that he likes/loves her. She just thinks she's not inherently worth caring for (Like she equates her worth to Andrew via what she can provide him: access to the trinket, or access to "intimacy")
I like how demon summoning is an established system with rules in this world, but also YOU CAN SACRIFICE ANYONE'S SOUL YOU HAVE LINE OF SIGHT WITH. That is INSANE. Ashley would be the biggest menace the world has ever seen if she was capable of actually planning things out and not hopelessly obsessed with boning her brother
The first couple minutes shows how manipulative Andrew can really be.
ok i love the idea of a demon having a rc car and treat it like some mystical artifact and sht
If opposites attract, is ManlyBadassHero married to a WomanlyGoodassVillain?
Andrew and Ashely weird dynamics is a train wreck that i can't help but keep watching in morbid curiosity
1:20 "HellO--OH! OH NO! Oh no! Oh no... Oh no." The GENUINENESS OF EACH EMOTION IN EACH OH NO
Im really suprised at how good the writing actually is. It's been quite consistent from start to finish and has distinguished itself as a piece separate from a lot of shit ive seen. It truely, actually shows how Andrew's and Ashley's relationship falls apart and they start getting desperate to fix it, even having some okay (and blatant) use of foreshadowing. Tragic that most people don't like the stuff it covers, i actually quite like this one! Just dont forget that this is still "The Incest Game." Looking forward for more! (Edit) Side thing I forgot to add, you know how in the last episode Manly posted, kid Ashley talked about how she thought smoking was cool and all? I like how that nicely parallels Andrew taking up smoking.
