I know not every student learns this way, but I like puzzles as long as I know the rules of solving them, i dont understand why teachers dont just emphasize identities and formulas, and leave me alone with that information to see how i apply it. I learn alot faster when im given all properties and based on intuition i can find out how to manipulate a problem to find the solution
