This reminds me of a story Brennan and Lou tell about how he made them cross a desert in their home game and the PCs had to carry their smaller compatriots and how stressful it was because of the harshness of the desert. I feel like we got the on screen version of that and it was terrifying 😅

My tables have three kinds of DCs, it feels. There's "Just don't roll a Nat 1" where someone inevitably rolls a Nat 1, there's "You're gonna need something high" where someone inevitably rolls a Nat 20, and there's "Not even a nat 20 is going to save you here"
