this reminds me of coming home as a kid and watching vanossgaming and mister gibbs. those days were a work of art.
that elevator chase down had me wheezing and crying at the same time LMFAOO
I never left Garry's Mod. It's my little random place to go to if I'm bored.
I don't miss garry's mod, because it never left me.
Gmod DarkRP proves that breaking the rules can be as fun as "following" them.
GMOD takes me back to the Golden era of gaming. I miss playing this in 2007. Learning the wire mod, building contraptions to drag into rp servers and cause havoc, and watching movies fully captured in GMOD on Machinima were the best days ever. If you haven't seen War Of The Servers, it's worth falling into a nostalgia hole to watch.
Now that we know that Garry’s Mod exist, we need to know WHO this supposed Garry is Edit: Please, for the love of god, this is a joke. I have been informed of Garry Newman, stop telling it
Yogi has some god tier acting skills, truly one of a kind
There no need for the assassin chase bit to have me on the edge of my seat like that. His ankles were dust at this point
i dont know if anyone remembers the elevator gamemode but that was so awesome and chill, wish someone made another version of it :c
I miss when Garry's Mod wasn't just now known for Roblox Scawy Meme PNGs that kids love for some reason
i'm genuinely glad that garry's mod is still around. i've been playing it literally since i was like 9-10 with 8-10k+ hours and i grew up with it. nowadays i don't play as much and when i do it's because i've found a community to stick around with for a while but after that phase is over i usually back off from Garry's Mod again for months up to whole years till i come back. it's easy to say that it's the most memorable game ever for me.
I have over 14000 hours total on Gmod and I can say, it is one of the games of all time, Dark Rp still bussin
MOST PERFECTEST TIMING AT 0:35 MY TF2 FINALLY OPENED AND I HAD A NOTIF AND AS SOON AS YOU SAID "however" THE NOTIF SOUND PLAYED XD
Growing up, Vanoss, Venturiantale, uberhaxornova, and the god of dark rp, Zuthar13. I loved every second of garrys mod growing up and I wish I was there during the peak
No joke, you introduced me to darkRP and Garry's mod in general back in 2017. And now 3000 hours later I can say I enjoyed it very much. So... yeah, thanks, Bubba 😁
I was 10 years old when Gmod 0.7 was released. I wish the video talked more about the building side of things, cause it's a whole other rabbit-hole. Back in the day my favorite thing was "wood wars", where players would cobble together wooden boxes, pallets and planks into something that'd function vaguely like a combat vehicle - using prop spawners and ent_fire commands to ignite and launch explosive propane cannisters from barrels made of wood planks, and attempting to blast one another to bits. Beyond that you had people making big space cruisers from combine razor trains and barricade props; race cars made from oil barrels and bath-tubs, you name it - someone had even made a functioning, wooden Vulture from Mechwarrior using a copious amount of hydraulic and elastic constraints. As the game and its addons came further along, with things like Wiremod/E2, Fin tool, Gcombat then its successor ACF, this side of Gmod became simultaneously more complex, and less accessible. At this point you can make practically anything so long as you have the patience and willingness to learn, with fully-simulated terminal ballistics, complex engine and gear systems, proper steering and suspension, swashplates for helicopters etc. It was really special to me and it's kinda sad to see it all sidelined in the public consciousness in favor of things like DarkRP and TTT.
Garry's Mod is irreplaceable. No other game screams Gmod so loud, other than the very game itself. The very stable play count over the years is a testament thereto. There simply is no other game that can do what this game can.
I honestly hope Garry's Mod will never die, i just like the old source 2000s ambience in maps and the look. It's relaxing and nostalgic.
