The truly terrifying thing about the website is that someone got deep enough into calculating catching odds to build a whole website around it, but somehow still missed the extremely basic and well-known fact that LEVEL DOESN'T INFLUENCE CATCHING ODDS. Some people think it does, because the kinds of pokemon with lower catch rates are usually found later in the game, where all pokemon you encounter have higher levels, while the pokemon you find on early routes have both low levels and high catch rates. But in reality, there is no relation. A level 1 legendary would be just as hard to catch as the ones you actually encounter in game, and a level 100 Rattata would be just as easy as the low level ones you find on the first route in most games 😅

I remember how I once had a normal Nuzlocke run, and then I met a Machop who for some reason just kept criting me non-stop. And no, he wasn't using that move, which is almost always critical.

Not as bad as a clip I saw of the pokemon battle frontier and they missed a 90% accuracy move only for their opponent to land a horn drill, and then get two quick claw activations in a row, both being horn drills that both landed
