@imbored1-y3f

Love the simple caption videos mate. They're interesting in a way that no other youtuber does.

@kamlasayeen

1:13 Bro this advice alone and the workaround, not to mention the rest of the excellent advice, is crucial and so welcome. Thank You!

@Mr-Nuke.

Thank you, Crimson Tech, for saving me from that building fire!

A Windows key gets tied to a laptop login when you create a Microsoft account and use it to sign into your Windows device during the initial setup process. So maybe dont skip if thats important to you, so like you upgrade your ssd and install fresh windows, you just have to sign in rather than clone your old SSD then reset it etc etc (not 1 million % sure but maybe like 90%)

Remove onedrive first, it can mess with your desktop files amd in general slow your internet down alot, if its already slower.

Nvidea overlay only has that huge impact if game filters are enabled. (Upto 15% impact), disabling those will give you back most performance if you still want to use overlay features. (Impact will be more like 2 to 6%, variable by game and resolution)

Good video 💯

@AnshuKumar-i2u4g

@notHikarida

love this kind of simple advices here at youtube, thanks for the advice m8!

@TrusteftTech

A couple from me which not all will agree with.

First plug in the power cable to the laptop, then to the socket. Not the other way around.

Unless you have a good reason and know what you are doing, don't install Geforce Experience if you have a Geforce card. You only need the drivers for the GPU to work.

I know you already mentioned this, but it is so important I thought to mention it again. In your laptop's energy manager application (whatever it is called in your case), make sure to enable battery conservation mode so that after the first couple of cycles, your batter is not charged fully, if you are constantly plugged in. This will prolong the life of the battery. My Lenovo's battery from 2014 is still fine...

For Mac users who switched to Windows' laptops. Unlike Mac laptops, 99.99% of the laptops out there need to be plugged in to operate at full performance. Else you will get reduced performance out of your laptop.

Man...the first few seconds of this video is just perfect. Showing exactly how people (I) feel when you get a new laptop/computer, at least as long as you are not some pretentious ahole.

Thanks for the video, I am sure it will help people.

Also, guys get your games from GOG if you can. They have an optional client if you are sick to your brain to want a client, and their games are all DRM free. Save gaming and your sanity.

@Myzteriouz-Jkr

The fact that you have Helldivers 2 on the screen while giving tips is awesome!! It's my favorite game, temps run at 85-86 celsius on average. Good to know I'm in the safe zone.
