ummmmm, wouldn't we actually know the country of origin from the tariff ? Like wouldn't we want to buy a japan made if the price differential is not huge vs a chinese good with huge tariff ?

It was only for the amazon Haul section of the website which is basically where Chinese vendors ship directly to the buyer and you can easily calculate the tariff costs. Calculating tariff costs for the main website is pretty much impossible. And Amazon Haul pretty much only sells the same cheap Temu quality trinkets that costs a couple bucks. Both sides are overreacting about something so inconsequential.
