My C and P was horrible! Very judgemental and made me feel like a victim again. She scolded me for not having reported it and basically made her own opinion. I have since reported her and asked for another exam.

Thanks for this, Jordan. I filed MST MH claim in May. I had my C&P exam 2 days ago. The mst event was 40 years ago. Went from step 3 to step 7 in 2 days. But I'm really concerned I didn't communicate well the full affect this had/had on my mental health. Especially since I worked this entire time. 😢

Yes it is. I'm a victim. Just got my pension after 34 years. My mst caused TBI.

If im in the process of med board and i have some the things that you referred to as secondary claims ALREADY diagnosed and put on my record. Are there any steps I need to take to get them service connected? Or is it already technically service connected since it’s already already on my record. (Besides the supplemental claim once I get out)

I had a CMP exam for PTSD-MST. Didn't receive a rating. Had to have a DBQ after, with the same CMP examiner. She was scratching her head as to why I wasn't already rated. So she went over her notes from the first exam and resubmitted them. Now I'm sitting here waiting once again. So frustrating!!!!

You always mention getting your condition diagnosed. But can my military doctors diagnose? Or do I have to go to an independent one? I have multiple conditions, but I have always been seen by the on base doctors, I know they are all well documented, but now I'm worried that may not be properly diagnosed. Please reply

What if when my VA claim was initially done, they never actually differentiated the type of PTSD I was diagnosed with? Such as MST

My sister was denied MST. BUT she was diagnosed with PTSD. No personal statement though

I was a victim of mst at the barracks when I was in and got herpes from it. I didn’t report it because I was embarrassed and I was already seeing a physiatrist about it and filed a claim but they said I need more proof and I don’t what to do next.

Im currently waiting on my determination for PTSD due to a helicopter fall and hazing. They been looking for a record of my stressor for months. I dont know what they will be able to find. I did finally get a buddy statement that can vouch for my stressor but i submitted a personal statement, diagnosis, and 3 doctors that said it was highly likely to be caused from service. Do you think it will be approved?

What about being wrongfully accused of rape? Im male, proven innocent, out of the military. She lied, got caught, but is still in the military. I mean does this not qualify as MST? Makes me never want to talk to a woman again.
