Heart pounding and sweating profusely after getting asked the most simple question ever;
In fact, a person can be nervous even when telling the truth, so it is impossible to know whether a person is actually lying.
These machines can be unreliable to some people because they detect heartbeat and stress levels which rise when you're put in tension, you are scared etc. But an let's say emotionally dead man/woman or someone who has trained his brain into hiding reaction can conceive the lie detector, which works by well not reacting,so it will always detect truth On the other hand if someone is nervous 24/7 the lie detector will only detect lies OR only true based on the stress level of the individual
If someone can stay calm even when lying then it won't matter
Lie detectors do not detect lies; people simply associate nervousness with unfaithfulness.
It detect stress, not actual lies or not, that's also the reason why its currently not used by the courts (also apologies for my english, its not my mother tongue)
Mike: "Are you gay?" Clark: "No" Machine: Breaks
respect for the honesty of clark
Lie detectors dont detect lies, people just associate nervousness with unfaithfulness
Mike is not only a lawyer now HE IS DA GOAT
as a person who knows electronics it's interesting how it measures heart rate using just a wire but normally heart rate sensors use light to measure
Law by Mike, you need to make a part 2 to this, pointing out the BIG flaws. Lie detectors detect stress levels, not always lies. So if a police officer is interrogating, either just because of anxiety or the police officers are purposely making you more stressed, you could be telling the truth but still be told you are lying. There are even lie detector classes that teach you how to lie on a lie detector without the lie detector detecting you. Even without the classes where repeat offenders have lied on lie detectors and would be released just because the lie detector was wrong. It's barely used in court because of it.

As someone who uses aurduino, this is painful.... the nano isn't even pressed into the bread board. it's just in the air and the random jumper cables with no sensor.
Nice invention and congratulations on 12m subs 🎉🎉 love your content bro
Bro, as someone who works a lot with electronics, this hurts, you strapped a few wires to a arduino nano and called it a day
Good video Law By Mike!
