@Icarus1234

I need you to do me a favor and get your mic closer to you mouth. Your voice still sounds too clear at the current mic distance. Try putting the mic inside your mouth, maybe that will do the trick

@NikolayLiubomirov

After using the Odyssey G9 for a year, my experience is exactly the opposite - the greatest monitor for productivity and bad for gaming

@RedactedWolfe

As someone that owns this monitor. Do not buy it. It has so many problems, especially when you go into game mode. Just buy a regular 16:9 1440p monitor. If I could refund it, I would.

@AsareAP

Love your content, from Ghana 🇬🇭

@Kenshiro438

Even for gaming it's not ideal. Not every game supports wider than 16:9. I went from a 21:9 1440p 29" to a 16:9 4K 32" and I have no regret

@Cocell_Zen_Tepys

As a developer who has to split screens in 5 panes, I SEE THIS AS AN ABSOLUTE WIN!

@LZWEHDKE

21:9 1440p or a big 4:3 4K are my go-tos.

Also, FancyZones makes ultrawides much easier to work with on Windows.

@earlpfau

I use one with that same res and it's perfect for multi tasking. Best decision I have ever made. Made it so I don't have to clutter my desk with two monitors. It's more like 2 monitors merged into one. If we are talking about 1440

@Draxi_1

Odyssey G9 is great for productivity. Not having the split in the middle makes window management much nicer and for stuff like Davinci Resolve or FL Studio it's a beast.
It's honestly worse for gaming since a lot of games just aren't setup for something this wide. It's always either broken UI, FOV that doesn't adjust by height but by width so you are playing with binoculars and some games just straight up cut it to 21:9 or 16:9

@fweddyboy

I actually have this monitor and find it better for coding productivity than gaming. I find it way nicer than having multiple monitors.

@thimodehaan5773

I am a programmer and have 3 1440p monitor's.
personaly i use all of them all the time while working, although i wouldn't go for a wide screen.

@avi12

I have two 4K monitors, each is 42"
I use the primary one for productivity, seeing a larger chunk of code makes me focus better on it, and the secondary monitor is used for other stuff

@CodingWithLewis

It looks cool though

@Sammie-r7d

Everyone is different bro, I prefer them separated

@ArunShankartheRealOne

I love it for productivity, with hyperland window management in linux or Yabai in mac.

@XeqtrM1

I tried a 49 inch monitor but I ended going back to a triple monitor sett up, 49 inch isn't the same as triple monitor sett up, I mean a 49 inch in s like 120 cm and triple 27 inch is about 185 cm so the difference is huge, plus split screen on a 49 inch isn't that great atleast if you want to split in 3 and one of em is a game, it's far better having triple monitor, so you get full screen

@00000a0009

It's not too big for coding. It's just the wrong direction. I use a 32" 16:9 vertically as third monitor and since I started to use it vertically I feel like I cracked the code

@Zepi2509

That is why the Odyssey G9 has this insane curve!

@kristenmgr

I'd buy it every time
XD

@scroogemcduckenjoyer

I recommend to start with just
one 27" and expand left-right as you need it, curve or no is up to you

That's the perfect size for me
