Saw this happen in the starlight desert earlier. Had a perfect vantage point for watching Eden erupt and even got to watch the shards crashing down next to the rose. It was breathtaking, and also kinda scary lol.

Watching it in the little prince area is sooooo cool, even though your skykid gets blown away. The contrast of colors and then the slow glow diminishing is absolutely gorgeous!

I actually saw this happen for the first time earlier today, I was taking photos in the dark water pot, (In Starlight Desert) then when I was flying to the top of the pot the shard erupted. I actually didn't know there was a cutscene for it, It was really surprising.

Its really too bad that TGC has mostly abandoned the whole shard thing. They do shards so sporadically now and they are mostly black ones. That whole season was pretty much DOA. Shame that they dont organize themselves and do things correctly. Everything tends to be too rushed and not ready for launch when seasons start, like TGC isn’t sure yet what they really want to do with it. Shard season was victim to that imo 😢
