Years back my dad said
Dad "wanna go flying?"
Me "yeah!!"
His intent was to brush up on power failure in pattern. Extremely short finals into a 2500' runway. Heck of a pilot, nailed every one, even the "chop power" at upwind end of downwind. Practice makes perfect!! Always be prepared.

@tomqueisser7706

Excellent advice but I would like to add one more………..leave all aggressive ego’s on the ground. See you in Oshkosh !!!!!!!!!

@DavidAnderson-fr8ii

Thanks Josh I love the way you let everyone know what they need to do for a safe trip in one of the craziest places and times to land a plane. I have seen alot of the items on your list online as well. As a non pilot I have wondered what they were thinking about putting a camera on a plane without a mount like you use. I agree it would only take one time for someone to get hurt for everyone to lose the ability to use cameras outside of their planes. I want to thank you for the way you always try to be safe and make sure that everyone stays safe in the air and on the ground. Keep up the great work.

@JakeStrt_Shootr

Plane is looking great! Can’t wait to see Chelsea’s big AC reveal. Congratulations to you both. Your page got me back into flying after a 20 year break, so truly thank you!

@johnvanduren4806

Another great video, sure wish I had a Flight Instructor like you back in the mid 1960's when I was training for my PPL. Even today at 80, if I was to reup my proficiency. one like you would be a blessing. Thank You and Chels for ALL you do to better GA!

@markbock3027

You’re typically such an even-keeled guy, Josh; I love seeing you get a little agitated telling people not to be idiots. 😂

@dandrewmd11

Thank You Josh for saying 90 knots IAS! We stopped in Portage WI last year (basically the starting point of the arrival) fueled up and got in line...everything was fine but off to the right was an RV10 that sped ahead of about four planes. There was some chatter to him but as we turned inbound, ATC called him and told him "You cut in line, break out and go back to Portage and start over...yes, we saw what you did on ADSB!" I was shouting Hallelujah!

@GlensHangar

1:40 I put those wingtip landing lights on MVU, and have them wired for daytime wig-wag recognition lights. I love them, and they make a huge difference for being seen in busy airspace.

@patrickheavirland3599

Good morning from Minnesota!! It was so much fun to meet and visit with you both!!! I hope your Oshkosh experience was better than ever!!

@ianbutter5442

Congratulations to you both. Chels, you might want to Google Barbara Harmer for your woman in aviation talk. She was one of my PPL instructors here in the uk back in 1981 and progressed to the first qualified woman on the flight deck of Concorde. Sadly lost too soon but a great inspiration. She started as a hairdresser. Always love the videos. Have a good Osh.

@PopsCustomSignsLLC

I enjoy every video you produce. I am not a pilot, never completed my lessons.....life got on the way.....but I thoroughly enjoy learning from you both. And by the way, congratulations to you both. I wish y'all a lifetime of happiness and countless hours of safe flying.

@mrb13676

Gonna try and see you there. Trip of a lifetime for me from South Africa leaving tomorrow.

@flyhigh02205

Josh and Chels congratulations, always big fan of both hope to see you soon at some point in Boston - Love ya both!!

@mattbauer2863

Congratulations josh and chels.

@patpliley5535

Fly safe and Enjoy it for us that are not able to go this year because of health. I enjoy all your vid's. You to make time for each other and live well.

@k.b.lowrie4622

Great PSA on cameras, common sense, and the responsibility that comes from freedom, Josh! For those not able to attend OSH this year, I'd love if you or perhaps Dan from TakingOff were able to video Chels's talk on Friday regarding the Cessna 150 upgrades, urgent and unnecessary. I can only bet that content would be pure gold anchored in wisdom and a huge benefit to the Greater General Aviation community.

@jturner9066

Great advice. We flew in with a Cessna 206 with 4 pilots and our work load was one buy flying and we all had our eyes outside looking for the other guy. I was glad I wasn’t PIC. It was very stressful due to others not knowing the NOTAM. We also had a copy just to ref while we arrived for backup. Fly Safe! Hope to see you at OSH.

@Mastadon-KD9GYI

Hope to meet you both either Tuesday or Thursday, can't wait to see how the C150 turned out, and to see N80991's updates in person.

@gregscally5119

Excellent video, Josh. I greatly admire your leadership and communication skills. Also congrats to you and Chelsea.

@utubewatcher360

You have deep pockets young man - congratulations on your flying success!! Safe travels
