"I have this goal for progress not perfection." I needed to hear that.

@burzummmmm

"Social media is a highlight reel" more people need to realize this! Spot on

@nikotheneko839

"I'm so tired, what is wrong with me?" hit way hard

@nursliman3600

One of the best videos I've ever seen.

@AshlynRichmond-mp8st

And why was I almost crying? Thanks Erin

@beingilluminous

This feels like the "perfect counter strike" montage to hold onto any time a wave of mental garbage floods my mind. I am so grateful to realize how much kinder and more compassionate I've become with myself. Yesterday was the "why am I so tired!?" vibe, and I accepted the limitations I have with more grace than usual. Thank you for this powerful gift of a guide, a reminder, and confirmation of progress πŸ™Œβœ¨πŸ™

The last one, hits hard

@LilaVert-FR

Some have a gratitude journal, I have a "benevolent coach" one. Each night before going to bed, I write the things, big or small, that I'm proud of / that I achieved for this day. Each day. Even the bad ones. Even when the only thing I have to say is that I showed up.
I've been doing this for the last 2 years, and I see a real difference in how I talk to myself.

@CherryBerryFashion

This video just showed my how much progress in my inner talk I unknowingly made 🀭❀️

"I have this goal for progress not perfection" - this exact mindset shift has made me be consistent with my habits and goals literally for the first time in my life

@efingkangaroo

for anyone struggling with this, i went to therapy for a year before i was able to change how i talked about myself in my head. my therapist called it "negative self talk" and it took a lot of time a practice for it to not be the default! Habits take time to build, especially intangible ones.

@EvosAndMakeup

Content like this is GOLD. Thank you for helping people ❀

@Nol.

Something that might help with the laundry tying is instead of thinking of β€œI have to do laundry,” think, β€œI’m giving myself fresh clean clothes.” Has definitely helped, although not solved everything πŸ˜…

@ERFARINGyoutube

My inner critic is not sad it’s angry.

@mothiur

Negative self talk or intrusive thoughts are serious behavioural or mental health issues that needs addressing. It strikes when there's low, no or fake friends in your social circle. Let go of people you cannot talk to openly.

@jewelsbarbie

This gave me chills. Thank you for the reminder to be gentle with ourselves. πŸ₯Ίβ€οΈ
