I really like your emphasis on simple, minimal silhouettes and details. As a much older woman, at 59 years I am finding that simple, architectural and bold contemporary cuts in good fabric is the way to go, including jewellery. I still have pieces from the era of 90s minimalism, and they're looking very current in my wardrobe. All I'm needing to buy is to update a few accessories. I appreciate your links and ideas for places I don't usually shop in.

@SP-ek1pp

I love your style and started revamping my closet. I’ve purchased a few of your selections and I love them. I’m 67 years along and have been told lately that I’m looking quite chic so thanks!

@AprilAverette

I’m trying to learn how to dress as a 39 year old and finding you and your style is a God send. Your style is exactly how I want to dress so I will be watching all of your content. Thank you for your time and effort in making these videos. Best regards.

Be mindful that if your skin is darker, then you can easily rock the brighter colours and look fantastic.
Likewise, if you're tall and slim you might want more dramatic styles, and some of them can work for you in a way that the others won't work.

@mbh3004

Lydia you have impeccable taste. It embodies class and practicality. I look forward to all of your videos and shorts!

@lyndarieder858

I’ll take fitted over boxy any day. Petites look dumpy in shapeless, oversized jackets and sweaters. I think fitted looks classic in any age.

@2gooddrifters

I bought a secondhand classic Burberry trench, 20 years ago in Greenwich market, £25.00. I still wear it.

@katherinelawrence1608

=Agree across the board, and then you show the beige metallic that your grandma would wear and I low key like it! AND I follow you not to conform 100% but to listen to your views and shape them within my lifestyle, needs, climate, age, and profession! So, I look at your slouchy bags and I think a perfect addition to get me out of my rut! I'll keep my grannie bag, and I'll explore a price-per-wear slouchyversion for fun! Well done Lydia! (does this make sense?)

And love that you take a stand and are not wishy washy. Your taking a stand is more helpful than you know!

@sophalpettit

I love your style and the concept. Keep it classy. I am 54 years old I went through all the trending and keep it classy saved lots of money rather than follow all the trends. Thank you for your video always great point on keep it classy.❤

@cindybarraco5815

Agree… Animal prints look more Stylish as an Accessory , Studded Belts r nice but Not so much on Boots or Bags… U have Great Taste 👌

@lynnmyrick4045

I’m always happy when I see that you have uploaded a video! I learn something new every time.

@palomino5223

You are one of the best classic stylist on youtube!

@pisilon2181

Clutches are elegant but very inconvenient, imagine going to a cocktail party holding a drink in one hand your clutch on the other and you need to shake somebody’s hand😂

@nikkisue1715

I would love to see a video on how you are styling all of these trends in a variety of ways. Thanks.

@angelaleishman1570

Really on point video, Lydia. It's so easy to get overwhelmed with the new season trends!

@MargaretHansen-z4x

Love this! Would love a similar round up of fall/winter shoes. What to avoid and which "trends" will last?

@foulapaix1915

Love your style. Subtle and classy. Am an older woman and it is refreshing to watch that in your g3nerstion, there is still elegance..

@cris97ish

Thank you for all the information and the quality videos you put up there. Keep up the good work!

@LizzieCOL

Aw, as a Latina I would wear more than one option in one outfit 🥴 so good to have your point of view ❤

@lriches8960

I have been inspired for a couple of years now by your beautifully classic style. Thank you! The dupe I found for the Loewe clutches is by M.Gemi - I believe it's called the Sarita. I have her in black. She's a beauty!
