The only 2 programs you need for arcade use. Xoutput for xinput and world of joysticks for xinput to keyboard. Play everything no matter what.

After seeing you game with it, Iām thinking the addition of a trackball would be perfect. A slightly wider box, with room on the right to add 2 or 3 more buttons along with an arcade style trackball, and maybe even an arcade scroll wheel, this thing could have both the keyboard and mouse functionality in the same unit! Or instead of a wider box, an add-on that could be removable, with the trackball and buttons.

This was a cool project but I couldn't help thinking you could have used 24mm arcade buttons rather than 30mm? The whole keyboard would be a little less chonky but quite a lot more usable!

this is great i turned a keyboard into a arcade pad, was kind of similar process, i will say if you ever do a project like this in the future i would recommend 24mm sanwa buttons
