I initially did the big ticket buy, 150k into SCHD, 75k TSLA, 25k VYM, 25K VUG, AMZN 25K. Now I'm dca buying roughly 2k every week of whatever is on sale, and looking to add more tech positions to my portfolio. I'm looking to hold long term 15 - 20 years, so hopefully my lump sum buy in doesn't bite me in the ass long term.

It's great that the Internet allows for objective commentary on politics to be easily accessible. It really helps to know that you are not alone in your understanding of what's going on. I'm from the UK but am hooked on US politics because aspects of it are good examples of where the UK needs to go.

In the past "Save the environment" seemed to mean "do less" "have less" "enjoy less". Tesla proved that "save the environment" can mean "do more" "have more" enjoy more", if technology led the way. 2 years ago I would have never considered buying a Tesla, now I have 2 and no ICE vehicle. I love them and now find myself actively looking every day for things I can do to help the environment. Perception is reality. MEGA can be a thing if we come together.
