I am happy to be a crone in my 50s, aged by experience, wisdom, and knowledge that i can share and pass to anyone who needs it
I traveled to Europe this past fall, in Italy and France, I saw women who were naturally aging, it was so freeing to experience 😊
Literally, I said myself when I turned 50, that it’s time to reconnect to that 10 year old version of me! I am over the moon happy you have been seeing this transition the same way❤❤️❤️🙏 I feel that we are a bit luckier here in Scandinavia, where strong women have received recognition culturally much longer. The botox culture is still looked down upon, however it seems to take over the younger generations slowly but surely. I love this content and I have been following both of you for a while. 🎉
I studied Carol Gilligan in my graduate program in the early 80's, and appreciate the reference to her early awareness of this issue. It makes me sad to think that we've not only made little progress in moving confidence and acceptance for girls and young women in the last 30+ years, but that the pressure for youth and appearance are now pushing the cosmetic interventions down even earlier. Thanks for bringing forward this imporant discussion.
Wow Mindy! She's amazingly brilliant, beautiful and wise! Thank you for bringing her on. Love you guys.
To me, women who age gracefully like you two give off this amazing eternally youthful energy because of the focus on your passions. Most people are also most passionate about their beliefs/ interests in their 20s. I really enjoyed this conversation, thank you 🥰
I just heard Julia Roberts talking about this same topic. Both of you are fabulous and keep shining your light!
I am 69 retired and proud to say that I have never had a facelift or botox.Happy aging gracefully. I eat right.Tai chi twice a week,Zumba and daily walk .I volunteer at Age care place Singing.Life is Beautiful. 💐💕
I feel so blessed to have a husband who loves me just as I am. He encouraged me to let my hair go grey, to not have manicures, pedicures, facials, botox etc and just to go "au natural." I'm so happy I did! I am 58 years young and much more confident than when I was in my teens, 20s, being just myself. Wrinkles and all.
So glad you’re addressing the aging issue! I generally do not listen to advice about how to stay young forever. I am proud of my wrinkles, fit body…I have earned that right to age well. The tracks of life are visually seen in one’s face but spiritually, God expects us to practice “wholistic healing” - from the inside out. I am in my mid 70s and believe me my walk has not always been good but know He’s within as well as outside of me!
Thank you ladies for sharing truth. I would like to have the energy of a 30 yr old. At 66 yrs old I’m loving life
Oh wow what a powerful and beautiful video..that I needed...thank you .ladies xx Mindy I love your energy....always ❤️❤️
Love and light ✨️
I suggest you include all of us in your discussion. Some of us are in our 70's and above!
Love this!! 55 and aging. Every video I watch just makes me like you more. Any chance you could do a video on night shifts like us in healthcare 7p-7a? Intermittent fasting
I absolutely love this video! 💜💜
This made me think. I do like to hear that I look great, but maybe it means something different to me. For me looking great means that I look healthy - my skin, hair, nails, body. I'm not a makeup person, I don't fear wrinkles, I'm in my mid forties and have plenty of gray that I don't color. But I do want to take care of myself, with healthy diet, exercise and care in a way that makes me feel like i look good/healthy regardless of my age. I'm fine looking my age, but there's no reason you can't look good at any age. I'm not explaining myself very well. I'm also really lucky to have a husband that prefers "the natural look" because that's happens to suit me really well, no hair dye, no Botox, no plastic surgery, no regrets 😊
It’s definitely not a natural thing to see the aging process so negatively when it’s just part of life and so beautiful in all its stages and beautiful. We are body soul and spirit! Let’s call it what it is vanity. I once know someone that wanted me to remove my hairy eyebrows because they didn’t look the way she thought the eyebrows should look according to her taste.
What an awesome talk!!! Thank you for sharing you both look amazing
