I'm looking to improve the image of my switch slightly, but my main draw was to have my ps2 look better on my 4k tv. Pretty excited to see some of my all time favorites look better than ever!
I bought one 2 months ago and I can not play without it I use it on PS3 Xbox 360 and Nintendo Switch it's amazing
It will output in 4K but that’s advertised for Blu Ray movies at 24fps. I’ve tried it using the PS3 and it really does look better. Having used this since it’s release it’s best for retro consoles which output 480p. It’s an amazing device imo but now that I have the RetroTINK 5X Pro I really don’t need it. The TINK has a smoothing mode like the mClassic and will output 1080p/60fps. When combined with the TINK, there’s very little improvement added since the mClassic doesn’t work with 1080p other than color and contrast. So for dark games it helps make the blacks look like true black when paired with the TINK but that’s about it. I’m looking forward to when they make an updated mClassic though. Usually during the holidays they’ll have a $10-$15 discount on Amazon so stay on the lookout.
i have a wii with the AVE-HDMI KIT installed which adds a mini hdmi to my wii if i got an adapter for it to convert it to a full hdmi do you think this would still work for it? i really wanna buy an mclassic now for my wii and ps3 but if it wont work with my wii kit ill be really bummed
I’ve heard that when paired with the Retrotink-2X devices with smoothing mode on, it will produce an even smoother, clearer image from anything you have hooked up to one of the Retrotink-2X devices. The N64 is a good example of this as it’s games are jagged and the setup that I’ve mentioned here really helps with this. It’s like it’s giving off a new life to it.
I’ve had one of these since last year and yeah it delivers and my advice for the Dreamcast get the akura or gekko from beharbros pair it with the mclassic and you’ll never look back,it looks so good!!,laters
So is this a must for all Nintendo consoles, I'm asking because I still play my wii for gamecube games
So I have a super console x king. I’ve found the older games snes nes sega are very blurry and picture is bad. Would this help clear that up
How does it fair with gamepass or backwards compatible games on series x? GTA IV was pretty rough looking like if it was an overblown 720p res and Shadow of Mordor has some very noticeable aliasing that my 8 yr old gpu could smooth out no problem. So 70 to 80 bucks to freshen up some of the older titles on xsx that didn't get the upscale treatment would be worth it.
Still recommend it in 2023?
So is this worth getting for ps2?
Will it work on a PS2 Slim?
Does it work with N64?
if i use this on xbox 360 is it 60fps ?
