you're going to want to use a bigger and wider brush for dry brushing. Think makeup brushes for blush and you'll be on the right track. You could also undercoat the model in white and then use speed/contrast paints in order to get highlights, mid tones, and shadows. If you're interested in that I'd suggest looking up the "slapchop" tech. Looks great either way and ive never heard of someone printing with wood before!
I'm not one to leave comments but that's pretty sweet man. Both the paint and the wood. Killed it 👍
thats simply amazing
It looks perfect
Looks nice. I’m working on a full sized version of that same model and I’m terrified to start the painting process to be honest. I was gonna use the wood filament too but I got a better deal on Bambu’s regular PLA
Nailed it
I use wood filamemt all the time. I love the stuff and works great for the broom grip on the DL44 Solo Han Blaster
Would acetone work better for making look more like wood, or would it ruin the texture?
Salamander are the bests
I’ve noticed that you have both A1 mini and A1 printer. I’m considering get my first printer and it’s really hard to choose since both printers seems to be identical Besides it’s bed size. Which printer did you get first? And what would you recommend? Is there any pros and cons?
I like it do the mask of Loki from the movie the mask see if you can get the paint right and the green glow on inside. Please and thanks

My constructive criticism: Eat more carrots Jk it looks great
the 3D printing lines are totally visible; so yes. Yes I would believe that is 3D printed.
