Finally! Savannah has got her test booked. I'll be willing her on for this. She's been so impressive with her knowledge of driving. It all depends on the mock test. She's come this far and hasn't put a foot wrong since the last mock test. She's got this. I know she has. She didn't come this far to give up now. She's an awesome driver. Very skilled, very determined to succeed every time. Aman, you know Savannah wants to pass her test so badly. I have every bit of conference that she'll pass it first time, and if she doesn't, than that's OK because she can always try again at anytime. Knowing the knowledge of driving professionally is so important in these mock tests because you have to be ready to pass. This is on a new level. Love it.
My son passed his test today, I taught him by watching your videos, your videos have helped massively and saved us a fortune whilst teaching him to drive safely Thank you for all your help and advice. x
Watching these mock tests helped me pass today with 1 minor a week before my 52nd birthday thanks ❤
Good luck Savannah! Everyone's rooting for you!
I love so much how savannah talks us through absolutely everything she’s going through whilst she is driving 😂 The roundabout saying I got this and then hesitating and after saying I hope that roundabout is not in every test route 😂 Literally what every other learner is thinking class ha!
I passed my driving test last month with 0 faults. Thank you Aman for all of these amazing videos, which definitely helped me to pass! Good luck, Savannah!
Aman, thank you so much for making these videos. You’re simply amazing. I passed today with 4 minors. All thanks to you.
I just passed my test today 😊 Your videos are really helpful ❤ Even though I am not good at English, your explanation is clear
I love the way you sit back and watch what Savannah is doing, Aman x
I’ve got my test in a couple of weeks too - we’ve got this, just gotta have confidence and not think about the dvsa backlog!
You've got this Savannah. Don't hesitate to come back on the channel after you pass.
Best of luck, I know you'll nail it! I've always been a nervous driver, and had a couple of fails thanks to the nerves getting the best of me. But the experience I gained learning to control my worrying made me a much better driver than if I'd passed the first time, and my final test was almost perfect!
To the learner girl, who is having trouble learning where her Left & Right are due to some early learning difficulty: start wearing a watch. You always are meant to tie your watch to your LEFT wrist at the start of the day when you wake up. Get used to putting it on your left hand, and then when you go out and you get confused, remember the watch is always meant to be on your left hand, look for it, and remind yourself that direction is left. Also always remember that when someone else is facing you, their left&right are reversed because they are facing the opposit direction to you (like if you're both standing outdoors facing each other and talking. Hop to face their way for a second to remind yourself, then back again). This is basic geographical orientation that every kid should know very early in life, although don't be embarassed that you haven't picked it up yet. It'll only take you a year to learn if you do this and think about it every week. It's an important life skill. Make sure your watch has a clock-face on it that is 'Analogue'(the circle with the 2 hands) and not Digital(the calculator numbers), so that you know the diffeence between Clockwise and Anti-Clockwise. You should also read paper maps and have fun navigating from them, do a little bit of countryside hiking or city walking using a paper map - that's the next step that will teach you the relationship between your Left&Right and your North-East-South-West (imagine those directions on a clock and say "Never Eat Shredded Wheat" to get the order right, clockwise from top, of these compass directions on a map.)
A wee tip for anyone! I spoke the entire time during my driving test to remind me what I was doing. Mirror single move, approaching zebra crossing. There is a zebra crossing- are people there, slow down on approach, 20 miles an hour. Examiner does not care. I passed with 0 minors. Do I do it now- sometimes not as much. But I had to drive in the red warning weather to work and rely on what I was taught ❤
I'm from Germany and I really love these videos, how people learn to drive in other countries, in this case the UK. It definitely takes some getting used to seeing everything happening on the left lane. But what I also noticed as someone who studied traffic engineering, is a major flaw in how the UK designs roundabouts. 1. Roundabouts should be preferably one lane only, two at most. I've seen multiple ones with 3 lanes in the UK, handling a lot of traffic at ones. This causes so many points of conflict, especially dangerous during lane changes. As you want to exit, you have to work your way from the inner lane towards the outer lane. This is a particular dangerous lane change, because a car could be just behind you in the outer lane, and due to the angle from the turn, you may not see them in the mirror. You can check your blindspot, but you don't really want drivers to take their eyes of their lane as they are going through a turn. Especially dangerous with a lorry or bus. 2. The roundabouts are often not visible as a whole. You want drivers to see the other side, so they know what to expect in the roundabout. At 9:18, you have a blind roundabout. You don't know what is on the other side, and this may cause traffic to stall, because someone has trouble orienting. 3. In some videos, I noticed a traffic light on the roundabout. That is literally crazy. The point of a roundabout is to make traffic lights obsolete. To have them on a busy roundabout, is dangerous, especially on a blind roundabout, because traffic lights can quickly cause a lot of cars to accumulate, and that is something you do not ever want in a roundabout. It completely destroys the flow. If an intersection is so busy that a single lane roundabout can't handle, then there is no business for a roundabout to be there and a traffic light remains. If there is enough space available, you can built a two lane roundabout, but no more. There are calculations based on how much traffic, and how much heavy traffic runs in a given time through the intersection, upon which a specific roundabout design in chosen. I know this won't help anyone, but I thought I'll explain it :)
Just passed myself in the last few hours. Your videos and tutorials have been the most helpful outside of my own lesson.
Keep watching videos guys, it really helps I passed today with 3 minors
Good luck with your driving test Savannah. Focus on driving safely and ignore the possible outcomes. You'll likely pass and unnecessary worry would have been just that - unnecessary. I felt under-prepared for one of my driving tests but passed, probably because I didn't worry about the result. Trust your driving ability.
Hi Aman, passed today with 2 minors, can’t tell you how much these videos helped!!😄
