@kahlilhtail

I agree with the opinion that a lot of modern adventure and sport bikes look like they're trying to be some kind of pointy mecha anime beast rather than looking like the iconic emoji they inspired 🛵🏍️

@PrinceStoner

I think the "it came from facebook" is one of my FAVORITE series. Get to learn about bikes I never knew about and get better ideas for a new 2nd bike. Ready to move up from my Grom.

@blackwolf_1_164

Dang, that Duc puts my 07 monster to shame, it's beautiful

@djreese1885

Just wanted to share I got my first “real” bike yesterday. Started on a grom to get the feel for a bike and (I know it’s not something you all would buy, but it’s perfect for what I need it for) I upgraded to a new Honda SCL500 Scrambler. I’m stoked about it! Thanks for all the great vids Yammie, you’re very helpful for us new riders.

@IvanMt77

The Italjet scooters were a big thing in the late 90's and early 2000's at least in Spain and Italy. Not just the Formula that appears in the video but also the Dragster, which was more radical looking (and just made a comeback a few years ago, but with bigger 4-stroke engines). If my memory serves me correctly Italjet belongs to the Piaggio group after a brief ownership by Honda. Anyway 2K for that scooter might be a bit too much, but it looks awesome and seems to be well maintained, so maybe worth giving it a shot if you're using it around town.

@thatpeskyswan

I modfied my oldVespa primavera 2 stroke 50cc to a 80cc malossi cyl head, malossi gearbox, vented covers, vented clutch, lighter oil, lighter rollers, stainless derestricted full exhaust system and a polini cp21 carb with 1.0 big jet & a upgraded ecu / ht leads / sparky bois etc. it went from a top speed of 28 to 50 mph, was it worth it for nearly 1000£ of mods? no, but was it fun as hell & completely mental to ride, yes! you'll never understand how fun & scary it is to ride a modded scoot till you do, highly recommend. I now ride a big bike like a normal [person, no regrets.

@daviddick815

These listing segments are the best, keep doing them please! I get to learn about some more niche and obscure bikes, learn how to shop savvy, and always some laugh or shock value with the dubious listings

@nepe1024

12:20 i have one DD750 2010 with 47.000+ km or 29.000+ miles. the previous owner dropped the bike so im in the process of renovate some of the plastics. but in the mechanic part its a fantastic machine, she likes to slide the rear tire with just a little bit of throttle

@safaridede

As funny as the cursed listings are, the super clean listings are a huge help for me. Still haven’t bought a bike yet, but I feel more confident that I know what to look for

@deepsouthboringtv2239

That scooter swing arm provides the delayed laughing benefit, before people laugh you off the road it provides that wtf delay 👌🏽

@andybloomwriter

We can all agree that this episode will forever more be called 'the beauty episode'. Not a bad motorcycle amongst them.

@errickkitchin36

I just looked it up out of curiosity. A brand new XSR700 is $8,600 from Yamaha. This dude wants $100 less than the price of a brand new bike for a 7 year old bike? Talk about delusional.

@dylanfranklin13

Might be Yam’s best marketplace video yet!!😂

@toportime

That Hyabusa at the end was beautiful and clean.

@therealstevedye_121

Scooter has a leading link fork. See Yamaha's GTS1000, or Ron Haslam's ELF Honda GP bikes from the 80s. Also Bimota Tesa, I think it was called. No front end dive, no changes to steering geometry is the idea. Creates its own set of trade-offs/problems, most notably ground clearance when heeled over. Interesting idea, never took off.

@frallinger

Stretch Busa always fun. Turn radius - next week.

@Julian-yx7zo

Just wanted to thank you for all your content I have always wanted to ride a motorcycle and I have been watching you for over 4 years now and Im finally going to the harley davidson dealership next month to complete the new riders course

@dcxxxx

Wow! Love these types of vids! Keep them coming! Will go back and binge on other vids like this!

@rasmust4921

Love to hear Yammie's thought on all these bikes!

@ExpectoDeleto

Alright, if you insist:

The boxer is quirky, but the advantages over a P or V twin are notable. For one, the weight distribution is very low, lower than any other configuration. In the same vein, it's wide. Think holding your arms out for balance when walking on something narrow, right? Helps low speed stability. Two, especially relevant on an ADV like the GS, it doesn't fall flat. When you inevitably fall off road, it's half the effort of even smaller, lighter bikes to get back up. The oft cited downside is the extra width, but it's still far narrower than the bars are anyway, so it doesn't make any practical difference from the rider's perspective.
