These resource pack changes allow for some stuff that was only possible with Optifine! Now we just gotta wait for custom entity models.
damn map creators are eating good this year
I just realized there are quite a lot of young people here who don't understand how pervasive Butter was in YouTube comment sections. Probably for the best tbh, but it still makes me feel old.
These recent changes are excellent, it seems that Mojang is working towards streamlining the process for modding the game and adding custom stuff. Awesome!
I thought you would inhale the glowstone dust to get glowing effect 😭
1:01 It's confirmed, we all go to Parkour Civilization after we die.
I find it funny how people complain about "Not enought stuff being added on the latest update", but we did get a ton of cool commands and diferent stuff, but noone talks about this short of stuff, the latest updates really increase map making ratther than the survival experience, and I love thah
Man, eating butter brings me back to the Skydoesminecraft era...
0:55 this has been a bug in bedrock for a long time. Not EXACTLY this, but skeletons and shoot me at full strength back to back to back (all within 0.5 seconds). They also can shoot you without facing you and without even having the bow charging (like what you see here) but they usually fix themselves after an arrow (or 3 arrows at once like they like to do).
Parkour civilization jumpscare
2:11 clearly it says 'waxed exposed cut copper stairs' and not 'waxed lightly weathered cut copper stairs'. can't believe peenix would lie to us like that
2:50 so eating animation mod can be a resource pack now
that carry property would be nice for server UIs, I can already see a lot of uses for the things you demonstrated and they are all good additions imo
4:42 What would happen if you'd drop the redstone dust out of your inventory? Would it convert into glowstone dust or just drop the redstone dust?
Finally, Skydoesminecraft's dream has came to fulfilling.
As a old Skydoesminecraft fan….. I can have edible “Butter” in Minecraft now!
This snapshot is so incredibly useful for resource pack creators like myself! It is now possible to make items that use different models depending on whether they are seen in first person, third person, in the GUI, on the player's head, etc. Using the same thing that Phoenix did with the redstone/glowstone dust, I was able to make a water bucket look like it's spilling when you grab it in the inventory! I really love these new changes and I hope they also add support for changing models using anvil renames!
Back in 2014, I first started playing minecraft with my dad and I was looking through one of his chests one time and saw gold but I thought it was butter. I made a "butter" pickaxe and was like "Look I made a butter pickaxe!" He told me to stop taking his butter to make pickaxes
1:01 Phoenix is never beating the allegations
