I built almost all my house projects out of scrap material. Personally I feel if you have enough of one specific material you can build anything. Also it create for much more creative projects which can be great! Takes more effort but it can basically be free besides fresh screws, paint, and prep materials.
Really trips me out that the matter on Earth is exactly the same
