I mean for me at least it’s safe to say wilds will be my goty, just a couple months ago I picked mh world for the first time and it became one of my fav games ever, from what I’m seeing wilds is a step up in every direction. Im glad it looks to good and vibrant with color bc world definitely lacked in the color department, it was washed up colors for the most part

Honestly being able to craft decos but also have a RNG part for getting ones sounds like the best of both worlds. At least on paper, I may regret that later once we see how it works with the RNG of multi decos.

I think the reason for them nerfing the HH buffs vs the HBG buffs preemptively is because HH buffs you at a percentage while HBG gives flat buffs. So the HBG buff is better in the beta, but the HH buff will get better down the line. At least that's what someone told me when I asked the same questions you asked here.

As a Lance main, it warms my heart to know that they truly listen and care to what the MH community thinks and feels. I cannot wait to play MH WIlds!!!

I really miss the launching attacks from the older games. I understand them tuning down the friendly fire and flinching on some attacks, but the upswing attacks should still lunch you into the air and it is also a cool way to get a mount every now and then. I think they should bring them back, especially with all of the cool new mounting attacks every weapon got.

I can't wait for this game! I am already playing Monster Hunter World and it's DLC Iceborne and then Rise shortly after that to prepare myself.

said this before but since we are talking about the future of weapons, i will say with counter (and counter like moves) becomming more and more generally available to all weapons, Lance needs to pick up something new to add to it's kit.

No clue what exactly, but a bunch of things i think they could experiment with are

->Drill/multi hit attacks: Like the ones it had in mhgu. (corkscrew jab, the aerial style attack, the multi hit third poke and even dash atacking a downed monster)
->Shockwave attacks: Both the focus mode attack and the new move they have shown in the comunity uptade have like this shockwave effect that does multiple ticks of damage to the monster.
->Throwing attacks: mostly because a lance is still a spear and no other weapon has throwing attacks

These are just a couple of things i could think of the top of my head. Im sure there is much more they could do with lance. I will be interested to see how exactly the lance will look like after the community update changes

One thing I'd like is like a research notebook we can look at on hunts that show information we have unlocked on monsters we already have that I'm world but I want one I can see mid hunt

All they have to do to make sure the hunting horn is not just a secondary buff stick is make the effects applied by the HH only active  when it's your in hand  weapon. It will then let HH mains still be valuable in a hunt instead of using the songs and switching out. There will literally be no need to use the hunting horn as a main if let that happen. That just my opinion.

I tried them all in IB and sword and shield is the do it all weapon, raw damage with perfect rush, mount damage, KO damage and crazy mobility it’s the best.

As soon as I saw the Lance gameplay, I knew right away they made it even more clunky. Counter guard was MY FAVORITE way to defend myself and continue combos. I say just delete hold to block altogether. Have the right trigger be counterguard. You can still do the maneuvers you were able to before from block, but in that window. Then just make it press circle to perfect guard. This removes what I feel is a useless mechanic of walking around while blocking. Anything hitting you while blocking will push you back or hold you in place regardless of how much block you could have in any previous version of Monster Hunter. This will make the playstyle balanced with 1 counter and 1 block. I've been a Lance main for 4 different Monster Hunter games, and this is just my opinion. What do you think?

Really hoping for some tightening up of the Hammer's moves, some feel a lot sloppier compared to world, and it makes the whole thing feel clunky compared to what we had

I really hope with hunting horn they address how difficult it is to input the correct notes on controller when playing multiple notes in succession (like you can do after casting the echo bubble). There were so many times I would try to input the notes for a song that contained a Triangle+Circle note and it would input Triangle or circle by itself and ruin the song
