What I hate is how Google is getting away with removing "What's on my screen" and bringing it back years later under a new name, "Circle to search". The FTC should have the power to fine companies that remove features for no valid reason, and then bring them back disguised as something else with a new name. With it being Google, they should hit with a bare minimum of $100 million dollar fine to show Samsung, Apple, etc, if they do the same, they'll be hit. A 2nd offense should be a fine of no less than $1,000,000 (yes, 1 billion dollars) to show that they're not messing around.

Half of these features aren't available on phones from budget brands because they cover them up to sell their own variety of ad-loaded products ๐ฎโ๐จ

Unfortunately Google must understand that in Brazil we don't have the Pixel phones available so these drops should be available for all Android devices.

and please bring lock screen widgets to android!!!! and a redeisgned control center with resizeable controls and more streamlined widget cuz widgets on android is a mess and look old and cluttered like whatsapp widgets look like theyre from the 90's and some widgets still have square edges in launchers ig Compose for widgets would help but strict rules for most thinks like apps and widget placing would force devs to shift faster leading to more optimised apps (forcing devs to move to compose)

Just use Vulkan rendering for everything in android , make a seperate thread for UI rendering and then only then tell ANDROID IS BETTER...i know its getting better but most apps do not have system wide control thats the thing holding android back for all i know my family used android for decades..... but i think this OS is more capable than this surpassing iOS or on par with it
