I just bought a 2023 TB in Metallic Blue over black and those chrome exhaust tips ridiculous on it. Can't wait to put some black ones on. Oh and the badges too.

We taped off the inner bowtie (to save the nice pattern from getting lost in spraypaint) and sprayed the chrome with satin black...looks way cleaner now on our white TB LT getting rid of the only 2 spots of chrome on the truck

Good work man! I managed to negotiate the "dark essentials" package from my dealer on my shadow gray Silverado. I might do the tips some day but the Z71 logos don't look too bad. I'll never understand GM's insistence on chrome.

I just got a Dark Ash Trail Boss Duramax and switched out to all black including a black Trail Boss sticker. It’s way better in my opinion. Good idea on powder coating the chrome tips.

I to prefer the gloss look on the emblems over the matte plasti dip...I ordered those Z71 emblems thanks man!

I did the same thing but also blacked out the lug nuts on the wheels and the trail boss decal on the bed sides as well. The color on our thick is the north sky blue. With the blue background and the emblems in black they actually look really good. I think with the black it sets it off a little more instead of the chrome ones.

Thanks for the video, I just bought a single cab 2024 short bed and have ordered my new fake badges. LOL. I’m doing 20 inch Chevy wheels and 35 inch BFG’s with 2 inch lift. Yep it’s old school but I’m an old guy. ‘

Same exact truck! Mine came with the black badges, and i am putting on the redline 6.2L, LT, & Silverado. Want a little more red because i have black and red Katzkin leather. I must get those black Z71 badges. Those look sick! Great video man, thanks. Oh, a nice truck, by the way.

Nice looking truck, since your eliminating the chrome you may wanna try black lug nut covers also, made a big difference on my trail boss with the black wheels

NICE Video! Just got me a Z71 LTX and doing a chrome delete. GLOSS and Matte BLACK. Going to wrap most of the chrome but def getting these black emblems.....Thanks for the video.

2019 TB I did black out including tips, tried matte black grille Z71 but you wont see it unless close. I bought badges on ebay and the originals came off easy wih warm heat and fishing line. thanks for the video
