Glad we won but Volpe is so bad. Forget the numbers. There's no one I'm happier to face in a big situation than Volpe if I'm the opposing pitcher. Just horrendous. Good job rest of the team.

Huge win tonight for Yankees. After watching these 3 games the Yankees dodged a bullet not signing Soto. 51 million a year for 15 years and he did nothing in this series. The guys they got with the money designated for Soto all contributed in a big way this series. Goldschmidt, Fried and Bellinger. Thanks Mets for saving us from that disaster.

Goldy, Belli, Fried > Soto. I was thrilled when we didn’t get that contract. There’s only two players worth 50 million a year and neither one is named Soto. Not even trying to be mean. Soto earned his money but from a roster construction and long term standpoint, we’re better off without that anchor
