Every one of you on this thread is an angel. Train put out the call - and you all answered. Blessings and thanks.
Every time I hear this song...I feel like it is God that is saying "I won't give up if you don't give up." Don't give up, no matter what you are going through. You can make it.
Calling All ANGELS to PROTECT ALL CHILDREN!!!
Psalm 91 - Don't know who wrote this song but it sure does represents the times we are currently living in. God bless you all.
When my son was about 19 he was living in Las Vegas and doing a lot of drugs and very depressed. I was concerned for his life every day. About the same time I was diagnosed as bipolar and also having a very difficult time. This song became our song of promise between each other. We both made it. He is now happily married, an honor graduate of Berkeley and a producer at an award winning documentary production company in LA. I am very stable, retired and also happily married due over 25 years. When my son married his wife about 7 years ago, I joined him for the Mother/Son dance and he had chosen this song. Many tears were shed, but of gratitude and joy. Thank you so much for this blessing.
The night before my mom passed she asked if l heard this song, that it was so beautiful, l did play it at her funeral, l love you Mom
Still here 2024,This song still rocks, will always
One night I was at work and I was extremely depressed and sick of my life. I didn't know what to do. I was holding back tears. I didn't want to go on living the way I was living, but I didn't know what else to do either. I prayed to God in my head in desperation to just give me a sign and let me know that I was not alone. A few minutes later I went to leave work. I got in my car and apparently I had left the radio on because the moment I turned the key this song started playing. He started singing the moment I turned the key: "I need a sign, to let me know you're here. All of these lines are being crossed over the atmosphere. I need to know that things are going to look up..., calling all angels". It was an amazing synchronicity and sign for sure. And it felt like God was saying to me "I won't give up, if you don't give up".
This is the most genuine and inspiring comments section I've ever seen. A testament to the power of great music and God-given talent
at 16, I'm so glad my parents raised me listening to music like this. I'm currently battling (I guess technically it's a "battle" even though at this moment I'm winning :D) leukemia and I listen to this song on repeat during chemotherapy transfusions, operations, even just hard times, and it always always keeps my spirits up. amazing song/artist. I love everything they do.
RIP Charlie Colin (November 22, 1966 – May 17, 2024), aged 57 You will be remembered as a legend.
Calling all Angels for these troubled times
I have seen an angel. I also was saved from bodily harm in two car accidents. Thanks to heavenly intervention.
Going through the worst time of my life. Song never gets old. Please pray for our world.
One of the few Train songs that Charlie Colin helped write. This is one of my favorite Train songs. RIP Charlie Colin!
Sang this to my dying father, as I sang his life was slipping away, but when he died he did it with a smile on his face.
I’m going through a difficult moment in life right now and decided to listen to this song on the way home for some inspiration. During the second verse and the exact moment when he says, “I need a sign to let me know you’re here”, I look up and see a double rainbow. What a moment!
My 14 year old Granddaughter passed away 3 days ago. I have been devastated and crying for 3 days. I had to go to the store to get groceries tonight. As I walked in, this song started playing from the beginning. Needless to say, I most likely looked like a blubbering idiot shopping. Beautiful song!
Psalms 91 For He shall give his angels charge over thee. I need them. I mean I really need them. Thank you Jesus.
