@OneMegaprojects

Additional Info: Freon-based fire suppression systems (Halon-1301 and similar compounds) were largely banned due to environmental concerns (ozone depletion) and replaced with alternatives like Halotron and HFC-227ea (FM-200). Many An-124s have likely been retrofitted with newer fire suppression agents that comply with international environmental regulations.
Correction: Freon gases are about 3 times denser than carbon dioxide, not 800 times.

My plane in war thunder when "Press '6' to extinguish fire"

@bahamutbbob

I feel like you've already uploaded both of these shorts.

@SirUnity_

Can you make the music louder? I can still hear the voiceover

@bade-bike1930

Also triggering other sensors alerting the pilot to make an emergency landing 🛬
:You’re welcome.😂

@michaelmolina3775

Halon 1311 is less environmentally damaging. These are heavy molecules that deprive the fire of oxygen. Freon exposed to an open flame creates phosgene gas, very poisonous. All fire suppression systems gases have the potential for entering the cabin, especially if there’s a breach in the compressor area of the engine case.

@slippery_slobber

Freon is the killer of the ozone layer.

@missles7315

It's ardrox that is used. some have the fire bottles right on top of the pylon of the engine.

@johnpapa1916

Good one i didn't know they had this

@bbj171

In theory it works absolutely pretty well, reality is different.

@Mr.Wolfie21

Bro made planes almost indestructible on these engines💀

@9bang88

Oh that's gotta be good for the Ozone

@talibhadi5338

Have never heard that this gas has ever saved a plane till today.

@Firesquadandmonsterverse

Antonov AN-225: aw man i cant do that

@Carnados

It also cuts the fuel lines making it inoperable

@wilkinson91564

"Freon" is a brand name of any number of refrigerants from DuPont

@davidro9883

And destroying the ozone!

@spencermoore1749

So basically engineers have that design to put out airplane engine fires that’s cool that’s pretty good. Good idea to have safer ways ways or better ways to put out engine flyers on on airplanes and aircraft and I think every aircraft big or small small should have that design built-in to put out fires fires on board on board and anywhere of the airplane or aircraft wherever a fire might start, especially if you’re free far away from the airport airport so I think the idea should be everywhere in every last airplane, airplane aircraft, including helicopters so I think that’s a really good idea to have design idea, built design idea I like it

@thepostman9664

Thats reassuring as you are spiraling to earth 😊

@DrGregoryHensley-u4t

Fire bad! Fire bad! Ugggh! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
