Though it might not look it now, Spidey 1 was probably game of the year material back in 2000. All the characters were professionally voice acted with well-written dialogue (a rare combo in 2000). The gameplay is smooth, varied and fun. The difficulty for normal seems nicely balanced too. What is judged as easy, normal, and hard always depends on what the developer thinks the three should be, so normal mode in some games is essentially hard mode in this one. For example, I know Spider-Man (2018) is a much more difficult game compared to this one. I loved the end cutscene with a funny hero saves the day kind of thing not common in modern games. So yeah, brilliant game and playthrough here.
Just a friendly heads up, the Dreamcast version looks leagues better.
