Uncertainty brings fear, Fear brings selling off, Selling off brings lower prices, Lower prices bring big market opportunities... recession or not, it's always been like this and those prepared can amass wealth gains.
Was stuck in the same loop for years. I read The Architect of Riches and something in my mind finally clicked. I see money differently now.
Every time yields drop and people rush into Treasuries, it’s like the fear sirens go off. Everyone’s scared of a downturn, pulling out of equities and hoarding “safety.” But that’s exactly when the best plays are made. If you zoom out 10, 20 years those who kept investing during the chaos are the ones with real wealth. The problem is, fear has a louder voice than logic when your 401k drops 12% in a month.
In 2008, I panicked & sold like many others. Being older & wiser, I will continue to buy at lower prices now for the long term investment.
I wish I was watching your videos in 2020-22 but that’s water under the bridge and I’m here now. Thanks for your insight as always.
I honestly knew that once markets really grasps that Trump is serious about tariffs, it’s going to hit hard. If the US cuts itself off from global trade, that isolationism is going to send shockwaves
Always spot on Jaspreet. I’ve always been an advocate of investing in stock because it has been rather lucrative since I dabbled into it. I've seen my net worth grow exponentially over the years regardless of the market meltdowns.
I work for a financial investment company, and I agree. Invest long term buy low and ride the wave!
Jaspreet your calmness and optimism make my losses bearable 🥴
To me you’re not just a random guy, you’re an expert. Thanks for the video!
Warren jumped off the boat like he knew this was going to happen. Great insight and strategy 👌
I am glad you emphasize the word an additional 34%, because other YouTubers and media Outlets just say 34% and leave out the additional... I have yet to hear one of these YouTubers justify these countries putting giant tariffs on our products and we sit by idly and do nothing about it
The only regret in any dip I've lived through has been that I didn't buy more heavily and more consistently. With 180k already invested, Am i on track?
It is a bit frustrating when all your investments are tied up in a 401k because it takes so long to do anything. As a result, I didn't have time to move my money before the drop. I have 4 or 5 years to retirement so this is a bit unnerving for me. I appreciate the reminder to stay calm.
I lived in a time when America was a mega producer, and almost everything was affordable. It was a 1 income 1 household.
problem for a lot of people is to continue buying when you are not sure you will have a job tomorrow
I made a boatload of money personally when everything crashed during the pandemic Yes I’m being a little too optimistic here, but I don’t think these tires are anything nearly as bad as a global pandemic, thinking everyone was going to delete. I think this is a fantastic buying opportunity.
Bring on a 30-40% correction… It’s about time equities go on sale.
Let me guess. Always be Buying
