I wish gaming still brought me that same joy as when I was a child
My first playthrough of oblivion and I’m learning that the music is very relaxing, great for couch naps that I didn’t intend to take
Come home from work start up the game play for maybe 20 minutes realise I'm too tired to play just end up scrolling shorts instead 😢
That sprint animation, whilst sprinting up a hill or slope, is completely absurd.
it’s such a throwback bro, i get up early before work to play a couple hours
I used to fall asleep with the controller in my hands, the screen would grey out and the camera would orbit around my character for 5 hours while i slept, wake up controller still in my hands and keeo going. That was 2/3 of my childhood
Bro, this hits home more than you know
Boooooooooyyyyyyyssssssss let's go!!!! Probably sunk 1k hours into oblivion on the 360 back when I was a stoner in school. I turned 30 earlier this month. I've seen enough clips to convince me I am going to fucking cry from the nostalgia. My girlfriend's mum is not very well and she's had to go and stay with her for this weekend. We have a cheeky little thing called a bank holiday coming on Monday. No work. I've just bought the remaster and have dusted off the pc I spent far to much money and used maybe 6 times and am installing it right fucking now. I've got about 20 mins left on the download, got 10 joints pre rolled. I've been waiting for something like this since me and my girlfriend moved in together. I'm about to have the best weekend 🙏 I love you all
Nothings more frustrating than wanting to play something and getting the time to play it but you can’t get into it.
So many people talking about how life use to be. The things you did as a child and the things you do as an adult can still be satisfying and enjoyable but SO many people subject themselves to an exhausting ideology that keeps them living in the past. Life is what you make it brothers and sisters, responsibilities don't take the things you love away from you.
Me at 27 still playing 8hours a day bc I work from home
While at work, i get excited thinking about comming home and playing. Thats about the extent of it. Staying up very late and playing still does it for me sometimes.
been coming home after work and gym and grinding for hours
After my 12 hour shifts, 4 days a week, i get home and for 3 hours, experience other worlds and other lives. Im glad gaming still brings me the same joy as when i was a child. Playing a new final fantasy still gives me chills when i hear the victory jingle, the visuals of expedition 33 make me wanna cry, its so gorgeous, the communities around so many games are the evolution of lobbies back in the day. So much has changed, but so much stays the same
Man, video games used to be such a blast, nowadays i have to go through a million to reviews to make sure I'm not being scammed by the companies...
Makes me feel the way I did when I was a kid, always having something to look forward to at the end of the day, even if I’m too tired to play it’s beautiful to just walk around or have it on in the background
As an adult that just paid off their house im glad to say that i am still really in love with gaming. Experiencing different worlds is always a blast to me
First played oblivion back in 2006 when I was 25. Now I’m 44 and getting the same great vibes playing this again. One of the greatest games ever
Gaming still brings me as much joy as it did when I was a child. Man I’m glad I have friends to enjoy these game with in my mid 30s.😊
