Once you beat your first difficulty 3 run it will unlock endless mode, which you can use to continue playing on any difficulty after it's unlocked. Unfortunately I find the infantry/vehicle strats fall off a bit as the difficulty goes up, purely because they have a habit of spawning out of the wrong side of the base or following the wrong path. Though with the Iron Dragoons I did win a difficulty 4 run by focusing grenadiers, I had so many by the end that it didn't matter what side they spawned on because it was a pretty much endless stream.
few quick tips: If you misplace a turret you can "cancel" and get the turret back for free if you build during "peace" so don't build during the wave unless is dreasticaly needed Using the mentioned method you can look at the cost and effect the the upgrade Having multiple entry point can boos some turret , but is better have less if you use lot of land unit or Aoe tower as some poit (pretty sure by beating harder mode) you unlock the Endless mode
Oh good this is gonna be a series
I dunno about Warpath, but if you want realistic combat vehicles (realism prooven by secret documents) then try War Thunder.
Closing up the path is generally nice, but not always worth doing, because if you only have 1 path you risk getting overwhelmed. Spliting the path in 2 and delaying one of the paths by alot is in my opinion the best way to do it Also, there is a really good comander in the jungle faction that makes tier 2 and 3 buildings apear 20% more often, and gives you 1 extra tower out of 3 every 2 waves
TABS challenge idea: Beat at least 20 campaign levels (of your choosing) using Da Vinci Tanks, Cannons, (bomb cannons not allowed.) Musketeers, blunderbusses and flintlocks. If you can't afford any of those, use any ranged unit you can buy.
Damn 50 minutes thx Baron for making it longer
I played this Tank build on difficulty 3 earlier, upgraded the Stars Call for cheaper buildings, built several Armor staging grounds, then add 2-3 Retribution Positions (upgrade this asap), more Puma Bastions Durendal Bunkers Scouts Also always put 1 Mirador beside the base for the HP and repair upgrade, just 1 Mirador since it falls out mid-late game
I hope this comes out on console. It would be a great introduction into strategy games.
My universal healthcare looks like this: So the skies above random civilians in the middle east can look like this: 49:18
I try to have long straightways towards my base, and then stack as many entry points as I can at the end of that path, because 1. Enemies are NOT guaranteed to walk the most optimal path, so a bunch of 4-ways adjacent to each other can slow the enemy AND make it so they don't arrive all at once, so your guns have time to reload, and 2. Many doctrines, some tower upgrades and a couple characters get bonuses from the extra battlefronts. So basically I try to minimise the number of entrances until I've built far enough away from my base that they'll arrive at my defenses anyway.
Twelve years and Baron is still amazing!
Glad to see you still posting I used to watch your 4 year old stick war legacy vids you should play gold faction again
You make me laugh sometimes, acting silly/German accent is awesome, blessings baron!!
12:55 that thing is like a robot tank with 2 miniguns as arms and a cannon on its chest or stomachđŸ’€
1:22 what the temu war thunder
There is an endless mode in this game where u can continue.. maybe it’s for the higher difficulties? I saw other YouTubers doing it
Closing routes is good unless you're using a commander or upgrade that uses entrances for buffs
Rank 4 is really hard, up until you realize pathing is more important than towers.
