Jensen Huang last year (I think) said that no one should learn programming because AI will run it all… Few days ago he said that they are presenting AI companions/assistant computer for developers to run AI locally… Narrative is shifting in front of our eyes because promises can’t keep up with reality.

So much kool-aid being drunk. In my company the CEO has gone off the deep end and and just keeps saying "we are an AI first company...we must be leading in AI...etc" , we are not primarily a tech company. It's just all so tiresome. The LLMs are great tools, up to a point, but it's not 'revolutionary', and the costs will rise exponentially to even squeeze just a tad more out of them.
