I would check if the printer IP reachable from the users PC (ping) if it’s reachable I would check if the drivers are still there, if so I would restart the pc then check if it’s still not working I would install the drivers again. However if the user was unable to ping the printer ip then I would check more from network side.
Remote in, take a screenshot of the error> attach to ticket> attach nearest KB found related to the issue> perform troubleshooting> Printing spooler check> Windows> Printers&Scanners> Default printer> test. Reboot printer> test> check if pape is jammed in the printer> check if paper size is correct> check ink levels check check hire me!!
