A trick I learned from my dad who played the original is that once you get a medalion at the start of the game DONT turn it in right away, that way none of the Oblivion gates spawn

Some of the birthsigns are game changers. e.g Atronach Skyrim reduced the effects Oblivion gains from race.

Fun game and beautiful world but idk wtf im doing😂. I'm level 8 and i still don't know wtf is going on. I'm a big fallout fan and decided to give this game a shot. Things are so confusing for no reason. Trying to find merchants, especially finding ones where i can sell weapons and gear is rare it seems. I've literally only found one that does.

I just started playing but wasn’t offered an opportunity to select my birthsign. I’m going to play again when I get home but can anyone help me with some advice? Is choosing birthsign optional and I missed it during character creation? Or do I play through the cave section then choose birthsign when I emerge? Should I start again? Very grateful if anyone can help.

They need to fix the over encumbered system. You should still be able to run just draining stamina then walk
