We got Qorvex's Waltz before GTA VI.
Damn, so many build videos, loving it, this patch has been really good for frame variety imo
Arcane Universal Fallout is so good at higher ranks I think you can probably dump efficiency entirely. I've been running R0 Universal Fallout, Arcane Battery instead of Primed Flow, and Zenurik to make up for not having a higher rank UF, and I haven't had energy issues at all, with maxed Blind Rage and no efficiency. This frees up the Primed Flow and Fleeting in your build, as well as making Primed Continuity no longer mandatory since you aren't lowering your duration, opening up way more build options (more range, strength, adaptation, whatever.) Blind Rage makes the build do a lot more damage also. All at the cost of cutting Augmented for Battery, which definitely feels worth it since I'm fitting more strength in the build anyways and still have more mod slots left over. And Battery provides significantly more energy than Flow. Also: I think you're wrong about how effective this strategy can be without the augment. There are plenty of game modes where enemies come from a few predictable spots, you can just flash the pillars with your 4 and enemies get wiped out. Even in your own showcase here, there are lots of spots where the augment is barely doing anything for you that you couldn't already do without it. 15:29 as one example. No hate though, just offering my experience with him :) Arcane Universal Fallout seems like it'll be the bigger buff to Qorvex in the long run as worst can scenario it turns him into a constant resource-generating support even if your team is killing things before Qorvex can really pop off.
Because Universal Fallout is so rare atm, a better alternative is to use a maxed out umbral fiber instead of vitality, and put on arcane battery. Then drop umbral vit entirely, and swap it for another strength mod to make up for the loss on umbral int (and help counteract overextended). This also lets you drop primed flow, which can then be whatever you want. Probably more strength or duration, but if you're having energy troubles you can go equilibrium so synth deconstruct provides energy too
Ah yes, I think the latest patch + hardest endgame mode in the game is definitely the correct spot to put a Qorvex "exclusive" arcane into, which is also extremely timegated and available to buy once a week. It totally makes sense really, too many people play Qorvex anyways! /s
Never thought of Qorvex as a “Mobile Fortress” type of frame, but now that I’ve seen it, I actually find the idea behind it pretty different from what I’ve seen from other frames can do
12:20 Freudian slip detected. Brozime's going to be the first to Tau!😂

"You must construct additional Pylons!"
Thanks for all the great uploads recently (and in general) It's nice to have a "tried and true" build to just try a frame before making small preference changes and whatnot.
3:15 just getting back into Warframe (again), sucks to see that they just keep releasing augments that fix Frames instead of just fixing the base frames lmfao
14:12 This is why I‘ve been saying from the start, as a certified Qorvex main, antisynergy bad - his pillars should attract enemies, instead of that useless slow effect. Alas, I didnt‘t even notice the augment turns on the pillars, because I‘d removed them, saw the dashing clips, and thought „not for me“.
Loving the new Qorvex augment - just find it weird that Qorvex and Wisp both got augments for their 4th that do opposite things.
I love using the 2 augment for him, great armor strip and his 2 is just fun, as well as quite good. ALSO using the 2 helps fix the issue with fused crucible where you cant activate your pillars anymore (aside from being in his 4), which really hurts his playstyle's passive side, so it is a really nice one to throw in. If you do wanna subsume something over it breach surge is another good one to do as well, it puts out a silly amount of damage and is quite flashy too lol. As someone who loves Qorvex, I do wish the augment didnt have a big downside like it does, but it is really fun regardless, I will say though qorvex is both totally playable and fine without it though, since it really doesnt make him more effective, just changes how he works a little, which the wisp augment kinda does too. A lot of these new augments further make me want a dedicated augment slot for frames, or a few lol, idk, maybe its a bit too strong that way but it would be nice. Anyways thats my ramble over lol, now to see if eda wants to bless me today lol.
When I first got this augment, I tried a build similar to this, only I used Dispensary instead of Roar with some equilibrium to feed me energy while I hosed things down with the chest beam. You can either drop the pillars in separate locations to spread your damage around in various choke points, or to kill things coming up behind you while you focus somewhere else. You can also drop both pillars on the same spot when something big is about to show up, like acolytes or dax in Lua, if you need to focus all of your damage on a single target in a pinch. If you have manageable energy sustain, another suggestion I would make for companion would be a robot chicken with the stasis field and the shield regen mods. The stasis field greatly reduces the damage you take from incoming fire, and since it's an area effect on the enemy fire itself it will also help you out with defending objectives. Robot chicken can boost your shields when they drop, to help you manage the times when you're not an invulnerable death ray machine. Another cool thing about the robot chickens is when they clone with duplex, they don't just run off willy-nilly doing what they want; all of the clones will stay near you like the original does, while they lay down fire from whatever weapons you give them. So, if you're less interested in sentinels just running off somewhere hosing things down with a chilling beam or whatever, you can have 4 robot chickens standing right next to you focusing fire on whatever gets close to your position. This can be pretty powerful with single target using something like a Verglas, or you can have several Tazicors chaining beams through a crowd. I wouldn't be surprised if they did a rework of Qorvex for his prime release, and turned his chest beam into an exalted weapon with all the new exalted goodies we just got. In a way, this kind of works out like the old World on Fire, where anything that comes into the areas you've chosen just gets blasted over and over until it leaves the area. I still use Equinox in low level kill missions for alerts and such, just to run through with 4 turned on with loads of range, so things just get slashed to death before I even enter the room. I assume that DE didn't like this style of play and that's why they changed how Ember works, and this new play style with Qorvex kind of does the same thing but it requires you to actually do some setup and move around. As for the new augment, you're right. Qorvex is so much more powerful and durable now with the new augment that the mod's use is practically mandatory to play him on higher level steel path with any real success, and that's mostly because Qorvex's base kit doesn't have any real survivability in it other than the confusion from all the radiation status. The status immunity from his 3 is nice, but it's not stopping you from dying to the things that applied the status in the first place. It would be much more useful if it worked more like Inaros' scarab armor, giving a huge boost to armor alongside the status immunity. Perhaps if each charge on the 3 ability gave you some extra armor, so that the more stacks you have, the higher the armor boost goes, and as you lose stacks to protecting you from status effects, the armor boost deteriorates accordingly? I really like Qorvex. I loved the concept of him when I first played him, but then things in steel path just annihilated him like he was made of paper, and situations like that just lead to having the helminth stab you with the frequently used Eclipse needle. It really did feel like Qorvex was specifically designed to fight nothing but Murmur, and only in normal missions with long hallways and choke points everywhere. These new augments are at least an acknowledgement by DE that some of the frames have issues with some of their abilities which is made glaringly obvious by how little they get used. I thought it was actually kind of funny that Wisp's augment basically just flipped the script to make her "new" 4 work like Qorvex's "old" 4, while Qorvex's "new" 4 works like Wisp's "old" 4 that apparently nobody used. Wisp's new augment makes her 4 really good at holding choke points too, btw, because just like Qorvex's pillars, you can drop it on a doorway and forget about it for 15 seconds or so, and you can have more than one of them out at once. Ultimately, though, some of these new augments work essentially the same way that original power augments worked 8 years ago. If you have the mod equipped, the power works in a completely different way, and the only way to change it is to leave the mission and change the augment (see Nova and Vauban in particular, circa 2015). I thought that was the whole point of the "tap or hold" mechanic being added to powers; to let us choose when to use a power one way and when to use it the other way, on the fly, while we're still in a mission (again, see Nova and Vauban 4th powers).
Dear DE let me trade Archon Shard Slots for Augments so I can have my mods back.
The first frame of the video is wild. That amber archon shard placement is... certainly something.
My immediate thought with that radiation arcane is to that it can be used on any frame, as long as you bring a hound with radiation on its weapon and whatever bond mod makes it so that its abilities can apply weapon status. Does this actually work? I have no idea. There's been a consistent case of the hounds being able to do this with Arcane Hotshot and Archon Stretch. That's why it's been my go-to companion for over a year now, besides its room nuking capabilities. Gonna test now and edit the comment in a moment. Edit: YUP totally works. Highly recommend.
I'm glad Qorvex has been getting some love! Been playing him almost exclusively since he came out. I might have actually swapped augmented arcane for the battery arcane, but that's because i actually did find it worth it to invest in his armor value
