I had a few of these. They don’t deserve the bitey reputation they have. At least not captive bred guys. I did take a couple of bites from one of em but only after I had been peeling stuck shed off for a while. After a while she got pissed off when I wasn’t as gentle as I should have been. My own fault. They are a great species to keep. Very cool and some specimens can be bright red, yellow or orange. Very beautiful.

Hey Forrest. I've been watching your videos for a couple of years and love your content. I own two Amazon tree boas, one is very demonstrative but has never actually bitten me. The other one gave me nerve damage for 2 months in one of my hands trying to remove him for an enclosure cleaning lol
